AFGHANISTAN : KANDAHAR ...Everyone told me NOT to go here!

Kandahar Afghanistan, first stop on my trip down south! i cant even tell you how many e mails and txts i got from people warning me not to go to that area at all, some quite bad e mails too! The reality was quite different, I know they see very few tourists let alone a woman , so seeing peoples faces light up when they see me is just lovely, they see a bit of hope ,seeing tourists are coming. Everyone was so so welcoming and friendly and although i didnt understand anything anyone said , we still managed to laugh. Such a different vive from Kabul here, a lot less Talib on the streets, i dont think i saw many at all.... Although this area was one of the most Dangerous Provinces in the past, it isnt now as you can and will see from my upcoming vlogs! had zero wi fi for days!! thanks as always for watching and your support ❤️

I found this video amazing, and funny. Kabul-Kandahar highway was one of the most dangerous highways in Afghanistan and Asia. If you were a government worker, foreigner or a man with jeans, you wouldn’t be able to go further than the Bus stop “COMPANY”. It’s amazing how you were able travel through that road, make a pet stop and walk out. Also, funny seeing you walking down the streets of Kandahar and greeting with Kandaharis. Time changes. Thanks for the hard work you do Emma. I will also appreciate your thoughts on current situation of Afghanistan, apart from economical issues.

You are so brave for risking something like this and going there, our people are kind and sweet but suffered a lot and tired of their life we are the generation that aren’t allowed to study and the generation that doesn’t even have any future, taliban didn’t do anything because they knew the world is gonna see this but we are the ones who lost our families, friends. Our mothers lost their children and children lost their mom, it’s so painful. They kill people by cutting their necks with knife in front of their parents.
