When your captain has not shown anything exceptional (as a skipper) after 4 years in that position, then he won’t show anything special even after next 10 years. Just like Sachin wasn’t a captain material, neither is Babar. The difference is that India quickly realized and moved on…whereas Pakistan is stuck with an unskilled captain. As a batter…he’s solid…as a skipper…he is way below average.

I do agree with Behram bhai to some extent on the Afghan reguees issue. I myself have literally fought with my hostel room mates, stopping them from cussing at Afghan students. However, I am also done with the apologetic attitude. I am just done with that. Afghans are our brothers. We do consider them our brothers. But it is not rocket science for them to see the losses we have faced in this war. Is it? Behram bhai, Saad Bhai, do you, I or any other Pakistani deserve this cussing or hate from them? Not at all. I am not saying my Afghan brothers have not been hurt with this fiasco. I am just saying that you, my brothers, were not alone in it. I have seen some brutal shit. Bomb blasts were pretty common before Zarb e Azab. Jaha tk racism ki baat he, a certain region of Punjab has always been recist to the entire country. I myself have been the subject of mockery and joking because of the region i live in.

some afghan players play IPL that helped since they know huge crowds, the weather & pitches. Ajay Jadeja is the man to bring out that attitude as a mentor. Amul, biggest dairy brand of india is their prime sponsor. India has been supporting the team in more ways than one. Also guys, its time to face the realities head on that Afghanistan seeked revenge and it was personal. They wanted to beat Pak with similar feelings as an india does! It wasnt just some touch and go matches & you saw it coming. they were baying for blood and that showed when the man of the match dedicated it to afghans being chucked out of pak. it showed when the coach was asked in the pc about the 'rivalry' & he responded with a yes! this was personal & it wasnt new. The dislike has been there historically for reasons i'm sure you'll know.

I might get bashed for this but our Pacers are comparatively still better than our spinners, specially if it’s reversing. To hell with these below average spinners, and go with 4 pacers, the spinners aren’t going to any wonder any way. So why not go with 4 pacers? What max can go wrong the pacers will go for runs too but so do our spinners but still when the ball will reverse you will have a better chance. Sad to see Pakistan lose but Afghanistan played well. However…it’s extremely disappointed to see all the reactions post the match though. The refugees comment by the Player of the Match was out of line. And the way Indian media and public are celebrating Pakistan’s loss is disappointing also. As a country, as a cricket nation we are really down and people have the opportunity to stomp on us. It’s okay…hopefully we can bounce back at a macro level. But people should be aware - things go up and down for everyone…so don’t celebrate other people’s misery. Good Luck Pakistan.
