Bro after all these years, I finally got around to reading the lyrics on Spotify. “Oh my Arnhem, oh my Arnhem. Hold strong, hold strong.” That is what they’re singing as you’re fighting in Arnhem. The strings towards the climax of the piece really are the tears of the city and it’s people. So powerful. I had no idea how deep this game was when I was a little kid.

Not sure if they even had armor piercing variations of any of those WWII era rifle caliber rounds let alone armor piercing variations that would actually be able to effectively penetrate said armor even if designed with the intent for such purpose.

So yeah they went into Arnhem with almost 10,000 men and less than 2,000 made it back to allied lines. 2/3 of the divisions officers were killed or captured. The 1st airborne was never reformed and never saw action again

I wish they remastered all the old Medal of Honor and Call of Duty games. Imagine how much better they'll be with the controls of today.
