I'll be real honest, the 2010 Medal of Honor literally had me in tears at the end of the campaign. I never get emotional but they did such a good job in that campaign, its a shame that Warfighter didn't follow that up. I'm an army vet that has been all over Afghanistan. 2010 MOH made my jaw drop. The attention to detail of the scenery, caricatures, missions, multiplayer... you name it, was simply amazing. As an older gamer ( less than a month till I hit my half century) you managed to take me down memory lane amazingly well. Well researched and production values throughout were great. I still remember sniping in the 1st one, the sub base was most certainly one of the most epic levels / missions of any game back in its day, the graphics made me dribble which by modern standards is hard to believe but my god I remember both my Playstation and my PS2 making a racket as the hardware tried to keep up with it. To be fair, the whole "Nazi Knights" thing was in a bonus level after the single-player campaign, that featured other ludicrous enemies and was intended as a joke. Medal of Honor (2010) and Medal of Honor: Warfighter should be brought to the XBOX ONE through backwards compatibility. Medal of Honor: Warfighter was released on October-23-2012, that was a while ago. If you ask me, EA and the developers should take an honest look at the modern world today and the War on Terror. Don't pull back and don't be politically correct (fuck the SJWs and the Regressive Left). But don't exaggerate and make an Alt-Right wet dream (fuck those people too). Just show the situation as it is. That's how they should build their Campaign around. Make a fictional story that is highly realistic. Put the Campaign time setting in 2015-2020, and put the areas of operation in Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia (for the most part). Use the positive elements of the previous iterations as your building blocks. Now for the Multiplayer, all the post-launch maps and modes should be free of charge for all players across all platforms. There should be no community split, I cannot emphasize this enough. No microtransactions should be in either. The purchasable DLC should be new weapons/equipment and cosmetic items, this could be all covered with one single Season Pass (that is under $25).
@tastycookiechip7 жыл бұрын
TRENEX 379 Lol what's an alt rights wet dream when it comes to warfare? You know the alt right is a term created by the left too right? It's not an actual group.
@Trenex10007 жыл бұрын
Brace Land What I meant by that, is that I don't want them creating wild exaggerations of the situation that is Radical Islamic Terrorism. Remember, the Alt-Right looks at non-whites (black and brown people) to be inferior to white people. By the way, the term "Alt-Right" was coined and promoted by Richard Spencer back in 2010 (if I remember correctly). They are an actual group, they are a collection of weirdos with stark similarities with the Regressive Left and Islamism.

I'd like it too, but then I remember how EA is today and I'd prefer to preserve those good memories by playing the old ones again. Just look at how EA treated Titanfall 2 over that garbage depiction of WW1, Battlefield 1. EA has swung hard to the left, they'd probably make a preachy/whiny anti war/America game, with multiplayer avatars that are genderfluid or force diversity into time periods it makes no sense in. I miss the EA who did Bad Company and even Battlefield 3...

Jay personally I dont mind it unless its completely immersion breaking. Like COD and their black female Germans. Thats pretty stupid. And BF1 kinda pissed me off in that regard because they black washed most most of the sides except the ones that where not white aka the Ottoman Empire. They shoe horned Africans in every fraction that was historically white except the one army that wasn't historically white....to me that seems racist against white people.

@Fe7Ace5 жыл бұрын
Ahh, with or without EA's direction this franchise would have hit a wall. Blame them for their sins, but what did they really screw up so badly with this one? It was a franchise based on historical war, strong narrative, and linear design in a market that got over-saturated with historical war games, grew obsessed with feature multiplayer, and where every single player game needs to be open world now. The changing temperament of gamers as a whole killed this franchise. So EA stopped making something that people stopped asking for and stopped lining up to buy, what villians. To survive (as something that makes money) it pretty much would have turned into exactly what Call of Duty is today I believe.

Rising Sun was problematic, but it was pretty good. Though the story was partially resolved on the ending of the PSP exclusive Heroes. It was mentioned that John Baker (protagonist in Allied Assault Breakthrough and Heroes' Italy campaign) was going to be transferred to the Pacific to Sgt. Joseph Griffin to plan POW rescue ops. It's speculated that the PoW may have included Donnie, his brother who was captured in the Philippines.

@@seanbillington3287 You're not the only one dude. I just played the game like normal until finding out about that too. Rising Sun on Gamecube also removed those scenes. I've since now started playing the PS2 versions via PCSX2

This is so sad. I miss the good old days on summer, playing Frontline, Allied Assault and Rising Sun with my friends

I have to say moh2010 is still, IMHO, one of the most captivating FPS I ever played... What a good blend of emotions, what a fun multiplayer...
