In my opinion, this version is way better because this is such an awesome song, and the problem I had with it was that it was so short! This remix really captures the essence and the mood of the song. "Smile" by AFI is short as well, but it is amazing as well.

I am the artist of this remix. I got locked out of my youtube account a couple years ago. I wouldn't have a problem if you made a remix for it, but i don't own the rights to the original song, thats why i haven't tried to monetize this myself. I think as long as you do it as a fan video it should be fine, but def at least shoot AFI a message to let them know

It looks like AFI label claimed this video based on the tag in the description, so I assume they will do the same to my video (so wont try to monetize my video to this audio). I tried to reach out to AFI before when I first used Prelude 12/21, but I'll try to reach out again.

​@@isecantif it was just up to me I'd say its fine but its not really my permission to give so hit up AFI also in case they want you to take it down. I hit them up way back asking if it was cool to remix their stuff and never really received a response so i just posted it but its worth it to do your due diligence and at least attempt to get permission from the original artist.
