He's absolutely my favourite vocalist and I stand by that, if you listen to his vocals throughout the entire AFI back catalogue alone you've got a great range of different vocal styles there. Not only that but you've got Dreamcar, XTRMST and Blaqk Audio too. He covers so much ground, and he's got a unique voice with all of that.

I’ve been into AFI since 1996. Their first two albums stuck out of other great punk rock. At FIRST listen to black sails, I wished it was more straight forward punk rock, but very quick it became my favorite album. A bigger sound. Deeper. AOD was a fantastic follow up, and sing the sorrow became arguably my favorite album. Decemberunderground was great. The bands evolution was phenomenal. Crash Love grew on me. Burials brought back the dark sound, but I wasn’t as sold. It’s solid as well. People need to listen to how they pull off a sound or feeling of an album. (Everyone does have opinions and tastes preferences). The Blood album, might be a favorite of mine. Black sails aod and sts are significant to me. This new EP, is really really good! For 27 years AFI have been killing it! I’ve seen them 47 times (first time was in 1997). I have crowd WALKED with davey havok several times, and it’s an amazing feeling having people hold me up feet (not knees) on their hands. AFI are an amazing band... they give it all with every show. They don’t just play a song to play it, they feel it.
