Afib: Cardioversion for AF

The algorithm featured in this video outlines the decision pathway for oral anticoagulation therapy before and after cardioversion for atrial fibrillation or flutter.
Cardioversion is a recommended approach to convert atrial fibrillation, or flutter, to sinus rhythm in patients with persistent nonvalvular atrial fibrillation who remain symptomatic despite rate-control therapy or in whom rate-control therapy does not control symptoms, and who are unlikely to convert spontaneously.

Well I did cardioversion recently and I still feel the same way as before and now I’m in a state of angst. I want to feel normal again. This pronounced AFib is uncomfortable.

@@landoblu me 2 lol I just had an ablation 2 weeks ago, in 2 months and I'm told to stop it and we will go from there. Afib sucks....hope you get relief. If you have Facebook find the afib groups they are very helpful
