- Go idle to let BOT help incapacitated survivor getting up and it will ignore the interruptions by attack from infected - Go idle to reset drowning timer - Spamming idle to lose hp faster when incapacitated (not sure)

@@imonke5303 　 maybe you could try to first shove away the zombies and then immediately go idle. The bot usually will try to save the incapacitated survivor which is not attacked by zombies at that moment

@@imonke5303 - to back what Tom said, clear the area and then immediately go idle. Any further zombies will not be a bother. This is perfect on that pipe section of Cold Stream because the bots will not slide off unlike human players.

There's also an idle trick where you can throw a molotov or a Bilebomb towards a Witch, and if you go idle while the projectile is in mid-air, the Witch will burn to death or get hit by commons but will not go after you

Just be careful not to stand too close to the witch with the bile trick! She'll get agro'd really easily. This also works with temp stunning witches with pipe bombs in places like doorways as well.

in the pre last stand patch. in c8m3 you could shoot the metal door with a grenade launcher and blow it open if you go afk just after you shoot the grenade. (it's the metal door that can be opened with a button from the other side) also if you threw a molotov at a witch and went afk before it hit her she wouldn't be agroed by you if you threw a molotov at a tank and went afk before it damaged him and he was also unalerted and idle behind a wall or something he would burn to death without moving as long as you remained afk

I think you forget to mention Molotov AFK trick. If you molly AFK a tank or gascan AFK a tank. They will remain idle as long you stay idle until he dies. It also works on witch where she won't able to attack and start to stumble.

The reason why this happends is because when you enter afk while Molly is in the air or fire is spreading. The game can't find the 'responsible' player for damage/kills. So the AI getse confused and assumes it as neutral map related fire damage. It does take a while to kill a tank with afk fire. You can also use pipe bomb afk trick to move a witch. Though in most cases it would be better go shove and kill the witch after she's stumbled with a pipe. Bile a witch also works but everyone must keep far away distance because once biled she become at maximum raged (though she dies pretty quick once biled, though in most cases this would be the last resort because bile is fairly rare spawn grenade)

I remember one time, I spammed the take a break button on Xbox while i was hanging off the ledge in l4d. I was able to receive my self, I guess I trick the game to think I was a bot and a player so it told my bot self to receive me. Idk if you can still do it

nice ive known about these for a long time. idle when you get boomed can still prevent the horde from spawning if youre quick enough. they only made it so the bile isnt wiped from your screen.

How do you fast idle? I mean not the command and keybinding i bind my "go_away_keyboard" to "G" i tried a Reload Animation Skip but it takes half a second to fully idle a character, its not fast enough

I don't exactly understand how in your video you reload the grenade launcher and still have the same weapon equipped while when i do the reload trick, it always switches to my secondary/melee. Am i missing something here?

You have to switch your weapon to the granade laucher. In the video it was achieved by the plugins, it's showed how it would looked in a perfect gameplay. However, without scripts you can reload grenade launcher enough fast as well.
