This day, more than any other Buddy must have regretted taking the money at Sydney rather than being a one club player at Hawthorn. So many great GF wins, Crimmo's Cup in '76, thumping Essendon in '83, DESTROYING Melbourne in '89, '91 when we were past it, '13/'14/'15 when we became the greatest team of the modern era, but most of all 2008 when a bunch of kids mixed with a little experience beat a Geelong side that had dominated a season like few before it. Watching an 18yo Rioli take on 3 Geelong players on the wing and winning the ball. Add '71, '78 and '86 and that's 11 flags in my lifetime. That's more than one every five years. Any other team match that in the modern era? GO HAWKS
