Go the LIONS!!!!! Sydney hasn't beaten Brisbane in the last 4 clashes....only the last one counts though and good luck to both. Doesn't happen often but two non-Victorian teams (which could technically be disputed) in the GF.

Six weeks ago Port Adelaide Power beat Sydney by about 130points. The Sydney Swans are feeling sore after about a double score by those in the Brisbane Lions Guernsey's. This will please the Brisbane Lions barrackers no end! Time to eat humble pie. A relative of mine was Captain of The South Melbourne VFL Swans and he gave me his practise Guernsey..

This one is going to be too hard to confidently call I think. Both sides are genuine contenders and have game winners on every line. It'll come down to individual moments on the day and who knows who will step up. I've seen way too many losing grand finals for Sydney in the last 10 years so I am hoping we can get over the line and finally get that win. It's a fascinating match up though because you can create a compelling redemption story for the winner and a tale of heartbreak for the loser

@@GG-ln3ft I'm fully aware. It's a disrespectful disinformation but I never recognised the merge because truly I could never understand why a foundation club lost it's heritage. Geelong almost merged with the Southport Sharks but came up short on the 100k members needed to justify the merge. 20 thousand more members and Geelong would have disappeared too and we wouldn't have had the chance to belt them and go to the dance this year. BTW, my nephews old man is from Geelong and my nephew goes for Geelong even though he's born at Southport hospital and is a pilot for the Globemaster type of planes for our defence force. And yet he still cheers on the cats

Not quite the results I was looking for but the one positive thing to come of this is that we have a non-Victorian Grand Final! Goodness this one is a tricky one to pick. The Lions are looking incredibly dangerous! They were so incredibly pathetic to start the season so I can't believe they are now at least a fifty percent chance to win the most important reward! But they could have easily finished in the top four given that two of their losses this year were by a point plus they had a draw. If all three had been converted into wins, they would have been top two. Luck is everything! Speaking of which, Swans will need at least a bit of it if they're going to overcome this rampaging Lions side. If you're going on the season as a whole then the Swans are obviously more deserving since they finished top but based on form specifically, Lions are slight favourite. Overcoming Geelong was the ultimate feat! Should be a close, absolute blockbuster!
