Does any game ever realease with out issues, it’s like just wait till it’s bloody ready. Even if u had to wait another year to release. It’s not like afl games are a yearly cycle so there is no excuse to not getting it right, then you get it right and all you have to do after you get it right is roster and junker updates each season

Hawthorn would be a great team to rebuild with. Youngest roster, this allows you to progress them for the future, plus a great history in the club. A perfect team for a rebuild. Won’t be easy to start with but that’s what makes a good rebuild!

5:01 I created 3 players for my Geelong team with 200 measly points each. Only 2 made it, the third is stuck with a random player. You also can't see the free agency pool by searches and filters.

I am sticking to AFL Evolution 2. At least it is playable. The servers are still up, so I might download the 2023 list off the community creations, and just keep playing Evo 2. If the servers are still up at the end of the season, I will download the 2024 lists as well. I will either wait for AFL 24 or I will only buy AFL 23 of I see it in some bargain bin for $10 or less. That's all it is worth.

Well, I got PS5 version day 1 and have been underwhelmed to say the least - although I have built and shared a stadium I am happy with! I can't even figure out how to ruck the ball. I have been making tackles by mashing triangle - more arse than class. However... I am not going to get on the bash Big Ant bandwagon. I took a risk buying the game day 1 and I'm suffering for it (first world prob's), knowing that nearly every game released nowadays seems to not be ready. Big Ant aren't alone here. I'm not sure why Studios release games then have to rely on patches etc to fix (Cyberpunk, Fallout 76, etc), but it just seems to be the reality. Anyway, I have faith this will get better and better. I can see enough in it to realise how good it might be. Big Ant's cricket releases have had issues on release, but they've all gotten better, so I have confidence in them; in fact I'm already looking forward to Cricket 23 this year. If you haven't bought this yet, then don't stress, but I think we'll have a good game moving forward and look forward to seeing it "kick goals".

It’s got foundations complete fine! I’m loving playing it and it’s way better than previous afl games just gotta really fix that player movement, tackling system is non existent rn, and would like to see some more high tackle push in back animations as it doesn’t get called. Also I’m being genuinely serious here, why is walters, tippingwoody etc all not correct scans why did they not get them ??? They’ve got this as long as they pay attention and focus it’s gonna be awesome

My honest review is that this game has AMAZING potential. I think the animations are great. Ive been lucky to get 2-3 good competitive games where the AI hasn’t stuffed itself and it was fun. I had 9 crashes on Day 1 and 3 on Day 2 so the stability patch has worked to some extent. PROS: - Animations - Fluidity and the pace of the game - Menus look clean - Variety of jumpers - Face scans and general graphics - CONS - Grounds seem upside down/reversed which is really off putting - Tackling is a rarity - Interchange/ Tactics dont work - AI at times - Crashing and freezes - Free Agents dont work properly in mgmt mode - Simulating results/awards seem unrealistic, how is NM beating GEEL in Geelong??? - Umpiring; worse then real life. Only seen holding the ball and ball up, apparently everything is deliberate! - Online is shocking - Missing modes and leagues Im sure im missing things but so far the cons outweigh the pros, however i reckon by the time xbox users get the game, the game should be in a very stable condition, hopefully this isn’t an AFL version of Cyberpunk 2077. Ive said it a few times (not necessarily on this channel), this is a foundation game for bigant. If they get to make another game or 2, theyll be much bigger and better, this game is just a stepping stone to a much bigger project.

Every version of Big Ant cricket (from DBC 14 through Cricket 22) were rubbish on day 1, yet morphed into games of pure beauty after a few patches. Just need patience. I just have 1 issue with this game: does anyone else have it? ( this is what I sent to big ant ) Hey big ant :) I’ve been playing RLL4 ever since 2017 and have 1,500 hours in it. I recently picked up afl 2023 as I am a big fan of your guys games. I have just one issue with afl. I have played it for about 10 hours now and I went from easy to hardest in just those 10 hours. I also never really watched afl up until I got this game. I feel like this game is phenomenal. The only problem is centre ball is way to easy to win and after you win it the Ai gives you ample time to just boot it down to your goals for a easy mark and goal. If you can’t change the centre ball winning, could you make it that the ai swarms you quicker as you win the centre ball. Kind regards
