Love the work. Only caveat will be what happens with the rule for f/s I predict the first pick will hold value and they push for holding a pick in the round your drafted so might effect lions with ashcroft a top 3 talent

@@PommyinOZ the question is when it comes into effect, and we don’t know the new rules yet, I asked a few people and they suspect it will be removing the discount, so if you have a father son drafted at pick 1, you’ll be forced to pay the full 3000 rather than 2400 forcing the club to go out and trade in more points, the difference between 3000 and 2400 is pick 32, so clubs will be forced to sacrifice more, I suspect it’ll be removing the discounts, bringing in a pick in the same round was sort of the old rule, which they moved on on the back of Sydney drafting Isaac Heeney at pick 18

@@PommyinOZ I mean, the eligibility is already very high with the father having to play 100 games (over 4 seasons), they have to be careful as well because if they give a green light to a rule the northern clubs don’t like, the academies could lose funding compromising the league’s mission to grow the game

Hey pommy, correct me if I'm wrong but do you think Ben Camporeale is better/more suited to play in the middle than Ollie Hollands? I was under the impression he was a winger?

Plays more inside time but Ollie did too at this stage, think you'll see a similar development. Wouldn't mind seeing Ben start life as a half back, then move him forward as he develops like nick D cerra etc

I can answer that without a doubt his much stronger and more adaptable better kick to position and depth

@ScottGrigg-kq1pe I don't think you watched Ollie at juniors then, played in a much stronger draft class that position. You're judging Ollie vs men, and ben vs children. Ben's getting more inside time thus the flux, but you actually break them down pound for pound as juniors not a major difference as wingers, and marginally in Ben's favour on the ball, difference biggest is Ollie play state with the cream of the crop, Ben's playing with lesser likes so stands out

Hi Pom hru mate u know I’m a Tiger and Hammer , I wouldn’t want to be a first pick this year cause the top 12 ars almost the same level especially the mids there are a lot of Richmond supporters want Smilie similar to a Bont player but to me it’s either O’Sullivan or Lalor , Lalor reminds me of the Melbourne midfielder Oliver

I dont understand the moraes hype. His skills are absolutely deplorable. Had a set shot late in the VC v Metro game and kicked it into the mark. And not just into the mark , basically into the guys stomach. Horrendous game sense. For a guy with a basketball background he seems to have no sense of where he is. He runs into trouble, gets caught a lot, and gives it to guys who are in even more trouble.

I agree! this is more our June Ratings (only sat down to correlate and compare notes this week for july we work a month behind so much intel to unpack) His carnival deffo shows what you say, but i would say hes a project build where you take his strengths and back your coaching to iron out his issues
