I had a good feeling about Adelaide this season. Last year most of their young players were still finding their feet. Finishing 6th-8th this season would be an excellent result for the future. No 38 Scholl is the bloke I've been watching a few years. He's going to be a great wingman.

Possibly but so are Fremantle, Carlton, St Kilda & Essendon. Depends on Adelaide's defence, if they can get their back 6/7 combination right and have at least two effective tall forwards there's no reason why they can't surprise and finish around 6th.

@@lukeslayer Yes. Sadly Richmond aren't flag contenders this season as Lynch can't win itby himself. Richmond should never have let Chol go. Riewoldt can't be expected to play at his peak, he's past that. Tarrant is a bit slow at full back. Richmond should get around 6th-8th though.

@Gazman Melb Tarrant is definitely slow at back but you're forgetting Grimes, Vlastuin, Balta, Baker, McIntosh, Short, Rioli etc and Chol even though I liked him would never as the team is right now mean the difference between a flag or not. In terms of forwards we have Riewoldt, Lynch, Dusty, Cotchin, Cumberland, Bolton, Rioli jnr and for the mids we have the likes of Prestia, Nankervis, Soldo, Hopper, Taranto, Graham, Pickett etc it's a very very solid line-up and I don't see Chol fitting anywhere in that mix at all.

In my expert opinion (using the term expert fairly loose) Top 4 in order Brizzy, Dees, Tiges, Freo (tied on pts with pies, edge them on %). Grand Final - Tiges Dees, dunno who wins, refuse to make a call Brownlow - 3 way tie between Taranto, Brayshaw and Cripps Coleman - Jezza Cameron Rising Star - Will Ashcroft, if he gets injured it'll be Sheezel the Cheezel Wooden Spoon - Mighty Giants 9th - Bulldogs AA Debutant - Either Jacob Hopper (If richmond have a good year) or Kozzy Pickett. Will Brodie a smokey.
