5:07 This was not a dangerous tackle.The contact wasn't overly aggressive. His arms were not pinned. He just needed to let go of the ball and use his arm to break the fall.

definitely not a dangerous tackle but it'll be looked at nonetheless. Walters makes it look worse by acting like he'd been shot on the ground. Fact he got up, kicked the goal and played out the game- there was nothing in it. Should be no worse than a fine if anything at all

Lol that’s not how it works. Freo came off of the Adelaide road trip straight into an away derby they were already spent. After losing Amiss that was detrimental to how the game played out. At one stage we had Neil Erasmus at Full forward. Sonny Walters is done and we majorly missed smalls to lock the ball in our front half. All credit to west coast though Harley Reid was the difference in the end.

Well it’s quite clear what the difference was in the end. Even my step father who is an Eagles supporter agreed. The trip to Adelaide for 2 games then to come home to an Eagles home game was always a concern coming into this game. I had a slight feeling this would be the result but was also confident we could get a 10-20 point win. Just look at Melbourne coming home after their Adelaide trip got pumped by Brisbane. They looked sluggish and the Eagles looked like they had fresh legs and a full tank all game. That’s not to take away from how well they played though. All credit to them they played an outstanding game. Marking everything and breaking tackles. They were so much better in the contest, played cleaner and a more faster attacking brand and exposed our defensive game. Harley Reid was the difference his efforts lifted the team he’s going to be a superstar.

We got dominated on the ball. Yes the umpiring was bad but the eagles has the contested possession and took strong marks. This game was disappointing, flattening and straight up embarrassing. This is not our brand of footy we are way better than this. We need foward pressure someone who can take strong marks. Onward and upwards boys 💜🤍💜🤍⚓💪
