I wouldn't call it new music. they already went through forest/crowning/vikings themes years ago. they actually come full circle and stuck in medieval times. i didn't expect elina to replace Liv because it was simply impossible. I expected her to bring something new but i got disappointed because she just don't fit leaves' eyes standard

I was thinking the chorus music here (minus the singing) sounds similar to Jillian by Within Temptation, but just different enough to still be its own. Problem is now days, there are so many bands that almost no matter what you do there's a 90% chance something about the song is going to sound similar to another band.

when Elina first joined, i loved her voice and appreciated her as the new Leaves' eyes singer. but the band went in a more tribal and traditional sound that wasn't as melodic and just made me miss how old Leaves' eyes sounded before Elina joined. but with this song it's very old school LE's and i'm loving it.

@@thesmooze001 They were always classified as symphonic metal; however, I think it would be more correct to say that they fall between genres. They use metal, rock, classical, pop, folk, celtic, etc in their songs. So symphonic is more of an umbrella term. But that's why I love their music: they experiment with different sounds and build around a theme.
