I got a travel size of afnan carbon awhile back and I was pleasantly surprised! I’m not even a fan of leather scents but this is mild and feel like beginners would like this very much. I’m not bold enough to do seven sprays 👀 lol but I do 4-5 at work and my small bubble smells amazing! Got compliment after 2hrs walking by security guard and she said someone smells amazing! Her word was amazing so yea I dig it even more now! Lol! Silage and projection wasn’t beastly but i can smell on myself easily for 6-8hrs. I will definitely buy a full bottle once I run out!

Had this one for a while and it is great for very cold winter days. I only wear leather frags in the winter or maybe cold fall but with a leather jacket. I like this one over many other leather scents because it smells like leather but has a touch of sweetness to take the edge off. Frags like dark rebel rider are pure leather and nothing else while this one has more interest. A very good scent for someone who wants to get into leather scents, but it is very powerful. I am not sure how well mine projects, but I can always smell it for hours and hours. I didn't notice, but a touch got onto my shirt collar and kept the smell forever. Don't wear it a ton since it is so strong and powerful of a scent, but for the price I think it is amazing value.

Longevity is definitely great on this; it doesn't push out crazy, but sometimes (specifically with middle eastern frags) that changes with time. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets stronger next time I use it.

I wore this one to work today and I had about the same projection and longevity that you did using about the same sprays. I really enjoy this one....reminds me of a softer leather like suede. Great on point review and I'm glad to have this in my collection.

Does it have the complexity of ombre leather? I’ve bought a few clones/inspired by fragrances and they just missed the mark for me to be honest. Hombre leather is deceptively complex and floral/fruity on the dry down. It’s incredible really. I’d love to find a sample of rare carbon.

I love leather fragrances, I've had my eye on Ombre Leather but I think I'll give Rare Carbon a shot first.( Even though I can't taste or smell.) 🤒😷 It seems budget friendly.

Hey Sarah. Thanks for the vid. Would like to try it. Just want to know how strong the leather is compared to La Yuqawam and Bitter Soft by Alexandria=Tuscan Leather. Is it punch you in the face strong? Are they all the same? Does Yuqawam smell like Rare Carbon as well? Thank You. Take Care.

Personally- the leather is stronger in La Yuqawam to where I can only wear it when it's freezing. This is way more wearable and a people pleaser.

Personally, I've been using leather fragrances to layer with more than anything lately. This one layers really well with a lottttt of different fragrances, and I find that it projects quite well

@@amschelco.1434 Yea 50/50. I use to put 5 sprays of each in 10 different spots around shoulders neck and arms. Idk who gonna be smelling you with only 2 sprays ;)

Couldn't agree more with the performance. Becomes less of a leather fragrance after the first 2 hours, and more of a smoky sweet labdanum. The fruity leather in Ombre Leather always reminded me of Givenchy's Gentleman Only Intense in the drydown, but this one doesn't. Still pretty sweet though. Great value fragrance even for those that aren't into leathers but like smoky stuff. I got this alongside Swiss Arabian's Shaghaf Oud Abyad and THAT is a leather right there. A smoother Interlude, but a dry leather-amber outright.

@@jonathanquinteiro6395 The leather is not as good or stable, but at a distance it's nearly identical and possibly even a tad more mass appealing. Given the price, I much prefer Rare Carbon over OL. Hope that helps!

I got this and 9am. this is a light dry fruits leather. Lasts longer on clothes i get like 5hrs on skin. Not too syrong so can be worn indoors too

It’s nothing like Fahrenheit…its one of the best leather cheapies hands down n made exceptionally well..I read some of the brand snob chatting bollocks up there..This is elegance and freshness in a bottle and a super performer..I get 6-8 hours with 4-5 sprays on me and you don’t need to layer it with anything..absolute blind buy worthy

Tom Ford Ombre Leather lasts on the skin for well over 12+ hours on me with only 2 sprays. I'll even wake up in the morning and still smell it. No other perfume has ever lasted as long as this one. Ok this might be a dupe but the performance can't touch Tom Ford or the projection.

It definitely can't touch TF, but I have to say, it does show up to the dance. I wore it today, applied VERY lightly to skin and shirt and that stuff sticks to me like glue. Hours and hours later it's still lingering. And for the price and performance, for me, not a frag head or collector, just wanting to smell good, Rare Carbon has WAY over exceeded my expectations.

Once in its in the air, don't think many people will be able to figure out the difference. Its just like Aventus clones, the original is always better, but in the air not many people will be able to figure out the difference.

I'm working on it lol I think it's a skin chemistry thing! Everything goes sweet/feminine on me, but I've had a male subscriber say that he has similar skin chemistry and he can't find anything that smells masculine on him! A ton of perfumes smell really good on men though, my favorites from the group are Alien and Black Orchid EDP though.

Wait- do you have that problem too? Because I might have a video idea... if a fragrance runs masculine on me, it'll run masculine on EVERYONE. I can test some stuff out; I don't typically buy them because I usually prefer when something smells unisex but I can buy stuff that I can just decant, I don't mind.
