Brhamos is a fire and forget weapon with excellent accuracy and very advanced computer program. Its a triad means it can be fired from air, land, ship or from submarines. Its already a supersonic weapon and accelerated to 3 times the speed of sound which makes it impossible to stop even with any anti missile systems including the S400 from Russia. It can skim over the water or any surface below 5-10 meters which makes it hard to detect. If all of this was not enough, Brhamos will makes an 'S' maneuver just before hitting the target just to make sure to it hits the target. Cryna will think 10 times before illegally touching another Filipino citizen or their property ever again. 😂😂😂

It is also very difficult to intercept with its supersonic speed and maneuvrable flight. Nobody will fire 2-3 BrahMos against one ship.

Yes. Once fired Brhamos cannot be stopped by any anti missile systems around the world and even the latest and most advanced S400 from Russia. Its already supersonic and accelerates to 4 times the speed of sound. Since the Philippines cannot get the 500 mile range variant the Philippine Navy can opt to acquire the Tejas Mk2 and pair it with the air to ship variant to increase the range and be able to base the missiles in major Philippine navy and Philippine Marine corps where secured storage, ease of maintenance, perodic check up, and proven physical and.operational security systems are already in place while increasing the deterrent range at least against surface ships.

The tejas mk2 is perfect for phillipines mrf plan. It is a 4.5+ generation fighter with 5th gen technologies and much larger than the mk1. The jet is multi role as well as deep strike role as it can carry brahmos ng. India will order 150+ of them itself to replace our jaguars and mirages. It will be a perfect multi role jet choice for our Filipino brothers.

Not only the Air Version Brother, it should also for Ship and Submarine Base Brahmos. The Philippine Navy already acquired 2 Missile Corvette from S. Korea HHI and the Corvette will be fitted a VLS or Vertical Launch System that the Brahmos Missile can be probably deployed. So as in the Submarine if in case the requirement of the Philippine Navy that the Submarine we will be acquiring soon can fire a Missiles Underwater. I guess in case the Navy will acquired the French Scorphene Class Submarine the Brahmos can be deployed with this Submarine and it is advantage to both Countries because India have this kind of a Submarine which India will fitted this with Brahmos Missiles. It is a good idea to have air launch vision of brahmos. it definitely increase the range .but we India believe none of philippines air force aircraft( Hardpoints ) have Capability to launch normal vision brahmos (air launch vision is 2500 kg without booster). Even India air force aircraft only su 30mki have that capability even then we only deployed one Squadron. Indian Air force waiting for brahmos Ng (next generation) it have weight of 1500kg Speed 3.5 mach.vietnam know this even though vietnam haveing su 30 waiting for brahmos NG. Now about Submarine vision brahmos it going testing stage Indian Navy Never deployed on submarine it have two reason 1, submarine mast have vertical launch tubes. 2 , it need data link from Other source because submarine don't have radar capability detecting 300 km. Even our scorpion submarine don't have vertical launch tubes.it only use SM.39 missile. Export vision of any submarine don't have vehicle launch tube.

@@sridhar2013 You have a Good point, well possible it will happen because Former Governor Chavit Singson will donate to AFP 2 S-3 Viking used by the US Navy for Anti Submarine and Anti Shipping and Refueling Aircraft, this S-3 Viking can Carry AGM 84 Harpoon Anti Ship Miaaile so as a Mk 46 Torpedo and GBU Bombs , this might be good to installed electronic system compatible to Brahmos, this S -3 that will donated to AFP is refurbished but the US removed all the Electronic Warfare System and maybe if India Brahmos Co. can installed an electronic and targetting system to this Aircraft that will be a big advantage and definitely a Game Changer. We hope it can be done like that so the donated S-3 Viking will be useful. For the Brahmos need a VLS for Submarines, I hope the Brahmos Co. Made this Missiles to be fitted in a Torpedo Tubes which just like the US In their Attack Submarines they fitted the AGM 84 Harpoon Missiles and the Tomahawk Cruise Missiles in a Torpedo Tubes so Why not the Brahmos, and for the Submarines need a Radar to link to the Missile, is why not use a Satellite GPS or a UAV Drones to detect the Target and if the GPS doen't work the land base and ship base radar will be use to seek and destroy the target. Also I read and watch in a bloggers that the Brahmos Missiles has a Fire and Forget Capabilities. Also for what I heard, watch and read that any Chinese and even Russian CIWS and Anti Air Missiles they have cannot destroy or hit the incoming Brahmos Missiles. Only the Israeli Air Defense and the US CIWS and C Ram can hit the Incoming Brahmos Missile. May God blesa the Philippines and India.

I say some example you are KAI T-50 aircraft take a weapon weight of 3,740 kg .but it will take on 7 Hardpoints. S 3 aircraft maximum take weigh on single Hardpoint is 908 kg (Mark 84 ) . I think America will sale S 3 aircraft on second hand .(I don't believe build new aircraft for Philippines because the production stopped )If have any information Philippines Air force use single weapon (missile are bomb) having weight of 1.5 ton inform me. I also found out that the S-3 Viking can only carry a payload of 2,200 kgs while the Single Brahmos weights 2,550 Kgs. So it won't work on the S-3 Viking.

Just to clear some air, Bramhos can't be detected by any present weapon system in the world. If you employ the best defense against Bramhos you might be able to tackle 1 Bramhos(even this is quite difficult), but if 2 are fired at you, it means sure death. Congratulations AFP.

what i know about this Brahmos Missile is that it is intended to be used on enemy ships hence it is used for territorial defense against external threats that's trying to sneak in on our territory. fielding this against local terrorist groups is somewhat impractical and in fact a silly yet hilarious thing to be a part of the question.

It has a launch weight of 720 kg, a diameter of 35 cm and a length of 5.78 meters. Akash flies at supersonic speed, reaching around Mach 2.5. Not bad, but if you want to prevent intrusion from enemies, you need to know where your enemies are first. Which means you need robust maritime intelligence gathering capabilities and the Philippines lacks these. Radars, more ships (navy and coast guards), maritime surveillance planes like the P8 Poseidon or Orion aircrafts. The PH gov needs to significantly increase military and spend up to 2% of GDP, if it is actually serious in defending the Philippines like what this AFP spokesman said. PH should go beyond "minimum defence capability".

Instead of the likes of P-8I, get some mid-range Maritime Patrol Aircraft instead. Similar capability for a fraction of the cost. Its not like you need to monitor vast expanses of the ocean beyond your EEZ anyways, so something long-legged like P-8I is overkill. You already have the C-295, right? There is a new C-295W factory in India and India has developed a new Maritime Patrol variant for it with AESA radar for the Indian Coast Guard. It will be perfect for Philippines.
