It's interesting seeing this figure as an adult now. I remember this being really fun to play with as a kid, being able to give Loweemon Duskmon's blades, mixing parts of them to create some hybrid. Makes for fun stories to play with.

I have this one too. I tend to keep him in duskmon mode as i have a good enough Loweemon for comparison. I do like the fact that he goes from corrupted to purified form. Makes him unique.

Really sucks that the Japanese Frontier toy line didnt just go crazy with the options, I would've loved to have gotten spirit evolving figures of the corrupted spirits of darkness, especially if there were a cool fusion evolution involved

Honestly i hate that it turns into lowemon, it should have turned into velgamon kinda like how the G gundam raven gundam figure worked, it’s definitely a crown jewel in my digimon collection along with the dark knightmon xros figure from xros wars

Honestly I would go nuts modifying the toy to make Duskmon better, because lets face it he is the better mode of the two. I wouldn't care if he couldn't transform anymore, it would be worth it for a cool Duskmon figure.

Duskmon was the Darth Vader of Digimon Frontier because of his character design and character backstory. Wonder if Digimon's creative team in Japan watched the original Star Wars while creating Frontier. Anyway, a Duskmon figure would have had great potential if he was either designed better or was made as a separate figure to begin with. A great Lowemon figure exists from the Spirits of Darkness set anyway. Wouldn't hurt to imagine how another Duskmon figure would be made with today's engineering, though. 6:14: I wonder if this figure was ever a SHELF-warmer while being sold in other countries. Had to throw that pun out.

Hey thx for another great review dude. Have to say that I have this figure too and on my copy you can easily detach Loweemon's arms, by pulling them off, so you can detach the rings with Duskmon's shoulder armor parts, and snap the arms back on, for a better and a "Less-More-Ridiculous-Kibble-Look for Loweemon's-Form. Made a review about this figure too, where I showing this detaching option as well.

I think duskmon and loweemon are considered slide evolution in some media, as according to the digimon fandom wiki, velgemon, lowee and jagerloweemon are classed as slide forms

Duskmon made it on my Top ten fictional demons. because his appearance just screams fallen angel. plus i think i would consider him as a bad end friend. which is a term where a character that starts as good person but turns evil either for one time or for the rest of the show or a character that is evil to begin with. Duskmon fits this category.

kyuranger Rider, honestly it’s more like how the spirit of darkness feels, he can freely turn into duskmon, and feels that as duskmon he is cooler according to the audio drama that was released recently which follows the kids and spirits post defeating lucemon
