I'm really impressed by how great this looks. You can't really get a feel for a toy just through promo images, and watching this has definitely convinced me to pick it up when I can. I'll have to wait and see for the rest of the line though.

I'm still not sold on Cheetor. The light blue really bugs me, and the lack of gold on his forearms makes the toy seem... unfinished. Still, if Blackarachnia's any indication as to what to expect, I really hope for a stunning Dinobot. And Rhinox. (Silverbolt is probably too much to ask)

You're late with this review but not as late as most toy reviewers will be though. Still early enough for most people in the comments to think this is the first review of her or that she's out right now. My only problem with her is that she's too big. She should be as tall as or shorter than regular Rattrap. She's definitely smaller than Transmetal Rattrap, even in her Transmetal 2 form. I don't see them having done her as a core figure though. Maybe something similar to Cliffjumper being a smaller deluxe with more going into the parts count, engineering, paint apps and/or accessories. If Cheetor and Tigatron are anything to go by, even if they do make a Tarantulas, he most likely won't reuse any major parts anyway. So there wasn't a need to make Blackarachnia standard size as she's no longer tied to a Tarantulas figure and it needing to be bigger than what she should be. There's an easy fix to that though, using T30 Rattrap.
