@@dustin8112 Not enough people bought them, which I feel like is entirely Bandai's fault for making them so expensive and sticking almost exclusively to Adventure 1 characters.

The black shoulders were more than likely gang molded with other black parts. And depending on the paint Bandai America was using, tryin' to paint them would likely have resulted in paint wear...maybe even straight out the packaging. (Wouldn't surprise me, some of the paints Bandai America used were pretty trashy) Renamon mode is weak, perhaps weaker than the Guilmon mode of Guilmon to Gallantmon...but Sakuyamon mode is sooo worth it. And yeah, she's one of my favorites as well.

Yeah, that's true. Though, I wonder if it would have been better if they had cast the entire arm piece yellow instead. Also, I definitely think the Guilmon mode is the weaker of the two. At least the designers had the benefit of Renamon having human proportions to begin with.

Yeah, you can definitely tell which mode was sacrificed for this figure. To be fair, whomever, the other 2 rookie to mega figures were more or less similar in that regard, with Guilmon to Gallantmon being the one to suffer the most from that, in my opinion.

The Digimon characters that deserve the digivolving spirits treatment: 1. Veemon. 2. Hawkmon. 3. Armadillomon. 4. Wormmon. 5. Flamedramon. 6. Raidramon. 7. Magnamon. 8. Nefertimon. 9. Pegasusmon. 10. Halsemon. 11. Shurimon. 12. Digmon. And 13. Submarimon.

if i had to change something in the toy I would've made it so the shoulders were yellow, same with the back of the arms then add swivels to the top and bottom of the arm to make it so you could turn that part around to reveal the yellow side for Renamon mode and turn it back around to reveal the black for Sakuyamon (also in and out articulation for the ams, and don't forget the leg articulation)

I don't know much about toy designs but I'm really surprised they didn't have the fingers split that way it would make Sakuyamon even more accurate. Also surprised they didn't give the figure any elbow articulation.

Yeah, there really isn't any reason why they couldn't have added elbow articulation at the very least. It just seems lazy to me that she doesn't have any, since there isn't anything hindering them if they did include the proper joints.

I had this figure... for like a week. I got it complete in a lot. I am not the biggest fan of Sakuyamon so I sold her. ( I love her design but I dont care for the less than wholesome art of her).

I love Renamon and Sekuyamon but I was way to young to know about the fanart so I learned to love them because of Rika and how freaking amazing she became towards the end of the series despite how unbearable she was at the start. I tell my wife that Rika with the shirt that doesn't have the broken heart is by far the best version of Rika

It's really upsetting that they never rereleased the tamers line, even if its just a single figure like s.h.figuarts or something. I would pay so much money for a gallantmon, sakuyamon or even a very detailed Mugendramon (Machinedramon).

Hm? They are going to release a Mugendramon Figure-rise kit and they just announced a Gallantmon. Gallantmon also got a D-Arts a number of years ago.

The third party that was available was Tungmung and Bandai along with Hasbro blew them up forcing them to close. They made lots of Transformers and the did Alphamon , Gallantmon X and Omnimon X they were working on Wargreymon X before they got shut down
