Felt like quite an old fashioned map to me, really big and borderline impossible for Terran's to take and hold more than 4 bases successfully.

Game 2 was a little sloppy, but it was also hectic and very exciting to watch! Felt like the map allowed for some refreshing stuff, miss 4 player maps like that and there were a lot of little different terrain details to take advantage of. Also loved that he went mech again, I hope he won't be discouraged by it, it seemed fine but he made some bad plays. Losing 8 banshees just to force a recall when he could have done the same with less banshees or with just a few cyclones to snipe the Nexus, and also forgetting to bring back ~6 tanks that were still sieged at Stat's base (though I guess it turned out OK since he got lucky and sniped several HT). If he had those 8 banshees he could have successfully pushed and taken Stat's 3 o'clock base at the end. TY's army was looking real strong during that push, but Stats' Archons were able to really splash those hellbats when TY tried to go through the 2 choke points. And when TY tried to go up the 2nd choke point, his tanks weren't sieged yet and he had ~4 more tanks that were almost there but not yet, if only he waited for those and sieged at the bottom before going up. Would have liked to see TY be a little more active with the Cyclones/Hellions to pick off a few units here and there, or snipe a Nexus with 4 Cyclones, or do some Hellion dives on those probes. There was a lot going on but I just mean there was room to improve in his play and I would love to see more Mech TvP from him!

I loved how in game 2, Tastosis were laughing about Protoss having cannons that move, because it's a building... yet Zerg literally have buildings that attack and move, and terran have buildings that can move as well.

Game 2 was interesting. It did feel like TY was gaining an advantage especially after Stats failed to win with his gateway push at 24:45. His over extension that lost him the game almost felt like it came out of nowhere. Part of it has to do with the fact that mech can't take the further bases since it would spread the army composition too thin so TY was under some pressure to end it soon.

7:48 lol, right after tasteless said they had a 3 second time interval to react perfectly or they lose the game. Stats might have bought enough time if he walled with a pylon to delay the push into the natural.

I wish they would do like some others are doing to avoid "spoilers", not spoiler in who wins before the match starts, but spoiler in how short the matches are going to be. When you see that one best of 3 is 25 minutes including the intro stuff, then you know it will be a quick 2-0. Easy fix to this is to just add random time at the end just showing "nothing"

Been saying this since last year. Stats' gameplay in not made for the current meta. Gone are the days of WoL and HotS that Protoss will go for mid game deathball or late game Carriers and Tempests. Protoss is always cheese and all ins in this current LotV.

@@nitroyetevn might be some case of overthinking. He has been so good on the defensive all his careers and now he needs to think of other ways to win the game, and honestly, cheese and all ins are not part of his game. No place in this game for conservative Protoss. This is SOS's era, but we can agree that his builds(?) are super crazy and non sustainable. Parting is just crazy and annoying without SOS and Stats' skill. Zest's perfectly balanced gameplay is built to last long but will always come up short. SOS will win the championship once he gets the grasp on this current meta.

@@GreetingsFromArrakis I was worried he didn't feel confident in Mech after Game 2 or such, but he stuck to Mech all 3 games vs Dear. I think you're right he was mostly trying to mix it up for the first time. Since he went Mech all 3 games vs Dear and went Mech G2 vs Stats, Stats would have really needed to scout to see if he was going Mech or Bio for G3 and can't just prepare blindly. Also the possibility of cheese cus the day was so cheesy.

@@JenDen9 I don't know what you're on about: GSL 2019 TvZ averaged 49.7% (S1: 51.6%, S2: 51.5%, S3: 45.9%) and while Terran had a poor showing at Blizzcon last year (due to TY and Inno failing to qualify), the four year average is 50.3% (2016: 76.9%, 2017: 50.0%, 2018: 60.0%, 2019: 14.3%).
