Africa Matters: African Americans return to roots in Ghana

The 'Year of Return' campaign in 2019 and the more recent 'Beyond the Return' project have drawn thousands of African American investors, tourists and settlers to Ghana. Some of them relocated to Ghana well before these initiatives and are running thriving businesses.

i feel things are not being told in this video.. like a hidden side. coming to a foreign country, what did they find here? what are they enjoying here? cultural shock must be serious. for some people, running a business it's all that matters. did these people integrate properly? i hope for a day when these modern medias will tell the complete story, not just try to sell an image.

@blacsteve the laws passed in south Africa pushed white farmers that had been there for decades. I wanna just make a business and a family but the world has gone to the moneychangers

@@brettmoore3194 Those farmers were given the opportunity to prove that they legally obtained the land. Any land obtained illegally was never their land. There are several farmers who did come in and PURCHASE land. They will keep it. It’s that simple. The same should apply to all who obtain anything by the way of savage violent theft
