I feel ashamed how most fellow african leaders refused to hear kwame nkrumah's speech to unite africa. Look at africa today? It's still poorly managed. If we did unite in the 60s, africa today might have been a superpower, Independent from neocolonialism, no proxy wars, no conflicts and more prosperous.

Do not talk about super power and Africa in the same sentence. That is why they kill our leaders and spy on the continent 24/7. Every move about progress is quickly dismantled and the lack of unity means countries and their leaders are sitting ducks to be destroyed or compromised. France and the US are sitting on Uranium in Niger and the result is the county cannot and has not developed its electricity needs but France is lit in glorious light.

Africa has allowed itself to stay divided. Once the concept was planted by the Europeans, chopped up, crumbled up, sliced up and then given a few pieces of silver to each selective country to ensure their steadfast associated tribes. Very sad. You said something like this: Speak what others want to hear, do what you want in opposition to what is said. Where do you go from here. What other African tribe leaders can you get together to, at least, start an African Union.

Africa should unite, they have been exploited for 400 years by Arabs and Anglo Saxons. The leaders in Africa must realise that they are look down by the white Anglo Saxons and still treated as slaves by the Arabs. Stand up and be proud of your strong heritage, your people have massive physics and are the origin of human descent. Show these Arabs and Anglo Saxons your place on this earth. This beloved brother knows what he is talking about! Unless we have Unity in Diversity as One people living in that vast Continent, we are lost. All the peoples of Africa are Africans and should work together to build that great Continent. President Kwame Nkruma was a Visionary who loved his Continent and the African people. President Nkruma knew his life was in danger because of his great desire to Unite the African people. He knew that evil forces in the world would do everything within their power to make sure Africa and its peoples never Unite. Up to this day, most African leaders cannot unite because they are all controlled by greed and lack of love for their respective peoples. Sad situation indeed

When I listen to this man I can feel the pain of Our beloved KWAME ❤🙏🏽👑he did his part and tried to get everyone to understand that they need Africa’s resources and if they have to they will take what they want. Disunited they can take everything without impunity. Patrice Lamumba is a perfect example of how they will take what they want and destabilize your people. It’s hurtful. Malema is a beautiful example of the ancestors coming back to settle the score. So much evil has been committed. Use the juju to set yourself and your people free, don’t ruin someone’s life with the power you’ve been gifted. Make a difference in the lives of your people.

I love it, and what he said about people around the world don't care about individual African national identity, because to them they see Africa as one, and that's true because I worked with a brother and when I referred to him as an African, he said he wasn't an African, he is Nigerian. So, I told him that I don't understand that he isn't an African, then he explained that Africa is the continent, and not the people, and I said to him that in America we have individual States, but we all are Americans, with different ethnic cultures and each State has its own culture, and governmental behavior. But, back to what the professor said about the division of Africa, and he has taught on this important subject before, many times he has shared that the chaos, corruption and division of (Africa) individually, nationally, governmentally and as a continent is deliberate to benefit, enrich foreign individuals, and small and superpower countries.

Africans struggle with the concept of Unity because its a foreign concept to them. Tribalism is the natural way that they've dealt with one another their entire history. But the merits of Tribalism has run its course. The world has changed. Africans are up against much stronger, more unified, wealthier and deadlier rival nations like China. Even Europe saw the need to Unify. Africans must learn to set aside Tribalism. That's what keeps them divided. Even in their local politics, they are loyal to fellow Tribal members.

People consider everyone on the continet to be African and not according to different nationalities. Someone, however, argues that this is nothing to celebrate, as the misunderstanding is 'a reflection of the ignorance of those who are unfamiliar with the international system'. It is possible that Africans will appear even better if they acknowledge, accept, and manage their differences in such a way that each sovereign state strives for collaboration, as opposed to the unrealistic United States of Africa.

It may not be a bad thing that other nations do not 'hear' you because when they listen that means maybe an interference of what progress you are making amongst yourselves. Get connected, However, do not let your right hand know what your left hand is doing.

Instead of trying to unite an entire continent of people of weak character, he should focus on exposing the weakness in the individual African man and woman and help them overcome that first! Until African's take responsibility for their own weak characters, they're bound to be used by someone! It's not leaders you need, for a leader of vulnerable people cannot resist being weak himself. It's moral people of character you need, for their strength naturally creates resistance for corruption, not because it's "bad for Africa" but because it will be dangerous for whoever tries!

We are not weak because we are not United. We are weak because we have no bargaining power. We have no bargaining power because we are poor. We are poor because we don’t foster free trade. We don’t foster free trade because we trample on civil liberties. If Nkhrumah had succeeded in unifying Africa into one country all he would have achieved is ensuring we languish in poverty as one unified block because his economic policies were terrible. Same as most so called Pan African leaders

Rodgers Opiyo, It's not him alone that can bring change to Africa.You and everyone is part of the problem and part of the solution.Every African has a part to play.It start from the mind.If each of us don't get rid of our mental slavery, nothing will be achieved.While it's through that it's all talk and no action, don't fold by doing nothing.It's not only the leaders but the whole citizenry.

We are not weak. We are confused and disorganized due to the great tragedy that occurred to us and this causes weaknesses but sir, we are not weak. This guy always talks about Africa in this manner. What about solutions?
@NkrumahTure
@NkrumahTure Ай бұрын
The weakness is derived from the arbitrary borders drawn in the deliberate carve up to supply western Europe with African material and mineral resources at the Berlin Conference of1884-1885 Berlin, Germany. The solution is continental unification under an All-Afrikan Union government. The territories will be states within a wider political union. That's what Pan-Africanism means. But you are correct, we are disorganized and confused.
