Professor Lumumba consistently delivers excellent speeches that awaken Africans to the reality of their situation and what needs to be done. Although I am not African, but quite the opposite, I have always had a keen interest in Africa and its development. I vividly recall the day I picked up a copy of The Economist on May 13, 2000, and read an article labeling Africa as a hopeless continent. Africa has always been viewed as a hopeful continent by Europeans and other Western countries, who have enriched themselves through African natural resources and the exploitation of slaves, thus aiding in their own industrial revolution, the development of rail networks, factories, tall buildings, monuments, health systems, and banking institutions. It saddens me to see this great and hopeful continent still far from where it should be. Everyone but Africans has taken advantage of Africa. It is time for Africa to belong to Africans. It is time to harness your immense potential and bring about change across the continent yourselves, without the colonial powers who still believe that Africa belongs to them until end of time

I agreed 💯. Thank you for sincerely analysis of African situations. I am an African and always think about the continent difficulties to prosperity. I know you're aren't an African, but as a human being you have that empathy and understanding of our continent's suffering. Thank you!!

@sammymanu7584 One positive trend I have been witnessing lately is that some of the African leaders are taken the step and have the courage to stand up for Africa unity and make Africa as independent Africa for African. The president of Kenya, Uganda, SA, and since long, President of Rawanda. Gradually, I am hopeful that one day Africa will be a continent that former colonizer walk into African leaders' offices heads bowed down rather than up and dictate
