Hi, I’m from Mozambique. The main reason why you’re not allowed to use drones in Bazaruto is because of the privacy that the usually high-profile, famous and rich guests from all around the world demand while visiting that very exclusive island-resort. In the Quirimbas islands at the far north of Mozambique happens exactly the same. Be careful with the bull-sharks, they are very unpredictable, aggressive and they usually cruise around very shallow water. Great videos 👍 Enjoy

The sea there is as beautiful as watercolor! Those islands are as dreamy as fairyland! Those kids are cute and love talking to people, which is great! The varied terrain on those islands is impressive and I love the scene of you running up the dunes, so lovely! It’s a pity that you can’t take aerial shots there, otherwise your video of swimming with sharks and dolphins would be beautiful! Fortunately, you took the photo of the moray eel, which made up for my regret! This series is great, introducing a lot of local history, food, culture, economy, and the lives of local people! You are the most elegant and smartest KZbinrs I have ever watched. Thanks a lot for sharing such beautiful video, really super great job! 👍😍🙌🎉

Congrats on your chanel, it is informative and engaging in a very low-key natural kind of way which is very pleasing. Moçambique is a gem and has so much potential, one can only hope that once the issue of corruption is tackled seriously and an end is put to the terrorist attacks in the north, the more pressing needs of its population can be met and the country can thrive and tap into the richness of its landscapes and unique hospitality of its People - all of Moçambique is "Terra de Boa Gente", not just the province of Inhambane. You will have to return; in Bazaruto you missed one of its most stunning islands, the smallest, Sta Carolina, where there once was a famous Hotel people flocked to from Europe, the States and Brazil. It was the last place I visited when I was here with my parents as a child before being sent off to boarding school in Portugal... because the war was coming. I have returned, 50 years later and even in ruins the site is amazing and very emotional. I read somewhere that Bob Dylan stayed there on one occasion and later wrote his hit song Mozambique after independence came. Obrigado and safe travels!

As you mentioned, Bazaruto is unique. For this reason, I'm happy to accept the no-drone policy there. Turtles nest on those beaches, and the endangered Dugongs swim in that water, so it seems reasonable to leave them to their peace. Helicopters are on a fixed flight path, but drones are erratic and unpredictable to the wildlife. The Bazaruto archipeligo is a well managed marine protection area, all marine craft have to vacate the channel after dark and human activity is strictly controlled. I wish there were more places like that in the world.
