Aamito seriously deserved this; I am so glad she won. From the first challenge when she started crying at the sight of her country's flag, I knew I wanted her to win. The rest of the models also grew on me, but I have to say the top three seriously made it into my top favorite models. Congratulations to all of them. :)

To add on, Tyra used to cast what she considered "ugly-beautiful" models, but ratings lowered and alot of people complained about that. So she now casts contemporary looking models, girls/boys next door look that are versatile. The "ugly beautiful" aspect is seen here, however. And no it doesn't mean they are ugly whatsoever; what it justs means is that their proportions in-person look odd, but it is there rare odd beauty that is photogenic and versatile.

Its weird, I never really see top model winners actually anywhere after they win (usually I only the runners up be super successful). But Aamito, I actually recognize her face Its so cool to see her journey and I'm very proud of her! I like Africa's next top model as well, they choose people who are skilled,consistent and confident and are upfront about their requirements unlike the disappointment that is antm that is too much like a reality tv show (cycle 24 was a tragedy) .

this episode was not melodramatic at all... which made it so real. In America ANTM, Tyra Banks would make the finalists go through a crazy bumpy catwalk on skates and then swim through freezing water - none of which is realistic in any way, the models will never be asked to do anything like that in their professional lives. Here we had a real go-see with real clients, models being tape-measured and that being a basic selection criteria. So kudos to the producers of the program. Maybe it was not the most entertaining episode, but it was realistic, and it allowed me to get the feeling of a real casting call.

The show itself was not the best. It lacked a lot of production and better editing. But, it accomplished it's goal which was to produce a working model. The really did it.
