InterGlobe Aviation Limited, doing business as IndiGo 6E Airlines, is a low-cost airline headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. It is the largest airline in India by passengers carried and fleet size, with a 61.8% domestic market share as of November 2023. It is the largest individual Asian airline, and one of the largest in the world in terms of passengers carried, with more than 100 million passengers carried in 2023. This is an exaggerated. US carriers aren't bad, but also aren't anything special. Very mid-tier and mediocre. We've never had a flag carrier, which probably hasn't helped. If given the opportunity and right price, I'd choose something more "exotic" 10 times out of 10.

14:00 that’s a part of the airline’s new strategy and goals with flight attendants. It wasn’t the case a year or two back, but they’ve been asked the FAs to interact more with passengers and as you said it brings a business class feel flying on a low cost carrier. And post flight you would get an email asking for inflight review with a question “did any staff member make your journey memorable”. Gives the crew a raise, potential stories for their social media team and from what I’ve been hearing they are using it to screen crew for their upcoming long haul and business class flights.

I use Indigo from Ireland. Online booking, payment & extra services. No Admittedly only used them within India but found the service fantastic. One of the best airlines I have travelled with. Planes were immaculate & when delayed especially in Gaya food packages handed out to everyone plus kept well informed

Now its not that Great with delays and Bit of Damaged Aircraft ( Many of their Around 40+ New Airbus A320s with Pratt and Whitney Engines are Grounded hence they are now being forced to use existing fleets more extensively which is leading to Delays )

I will give you one thing - any Indian low cost carrier is better than any Canadian low-cost carrier. Cheaper, clean and new planes, attendants without attitude, way liberal baggage allowance and very punctual.

On the domestic sector IndiGo is rarely value for money- they charge for everything like RyanAir and on some sectors they have monopoly hence we have no choice but to fly with them. Otherwise I would choose Vistara or Air India for slightly more.

@@theRealJohnnyG. For example Bangalore to Hyderabad AC bus charge is around $15 for 10-11 hours and Indigo (flight) is available in $30 for 1 hour and 1.30 hours for check in. If someone can afford this extra bucks they choose the Indigo who care about service for 1 hr.

Indigo is good for domestic travel, not more than 3 hours. Little leg room, no seat comfort. Only advantage with comparatively better punctuality than its contemporary domestic airliners. Yes it's cheap

I completely agree with this statement! I like IndiGo too, but I always feel they lack vibrancy. There are many things they can do to be more vibrant and engaging: special liveries, competitions through social media channels, mall promotions, and much more. Cz why not? It might actually make them popular and liked by the public. I'm thinking of AirAsia's (Malaysia & Thai divisions) style of marketing when I say this. I would like to see that kind of vibrancy with IndiGo.

I’m planning to fly indigo for a tourist visit to India. I’m currently a student with and low budget. Am I doing the right thing? EDIT: im back to the UK, I enjoyed India. The service wasn’t that good, the meal was average. Landing and takeoff was super rough. Buy at your own risk

And it also goes the other way around too. But with better ads more customers can be reeled in on service, and with great service the new gained customers can be converted to repeating customers. The perfect balance of both. Something Air India has started doing now.

As a regular between (south) India and UAE, the experience loudly declares that it is an overhyped and highly exploitative airline. It charges more than the premiere airlines and servers us worse than the worst. In simple, autorikshaw experience in the air - that's it. It's management cares about money and money only.

A shame yes but the air compagny check the passport and visa before allowed bording . I know in India immigration buro BI have the most incompetant professionnal officers . I get the same problem to pass immigration because the visa stamp in my passport was not clear .. lost 2 hours in discusion until i call a relatif working at BI to receive the clearence . The cost : a lunch and bottle of whisky ❗❗❗

That's an interesting question. If it is your passion, definitely start. But, don't do it if you are just in for the money. My channel is still very small and I spend way more on the flights than what I am getting in return (financially at least). But I see it more as a hobby / passion project that maybe one day will also make some profit. It takes a lot more time and work than people might think, but if you really want to do it I 100% encourage you to just start and then learn along the way.

It was really Horrible and Shamefull Incident for India but many people forgetting that she Travelled all the way from Northern States when she Entered India and then went all the way down to south then to sri lanka and finnaly going to North east Via Eastern India when the R Incident occured in Eastern State of Jharkhand. Mind that she Entered India on JULY 2023 and was Traveling since then in all Northern States , Southern States ,Eastern States before the Incident happened with her in FEB 2024. Does that mean India is 100% safe ?? NO HELL NO Actually You can't be 100% safe in any country there are bad people everywhere. I mean after all those Mass Shootings in US does it mean that US is Unsafe?? No its safe. Why to label the Entire country for the Act of Few Individuals.....

India is much safer than USA as far as gun violence in cities like Chicago (south side) and LA (some parts) are concerned. Only problem can be overcharging by autos, but foreigners are generally treated very well.
