I’ve got an RD04 but I imagine it’s the same process, thanks for the video. I love that you kept dropping the cover into the old oil pan......we’ve all been there 😂😂

What i would recomend is to put a neodymium magnet on oil filter bottom when tightened. It helps allot! I do it on my all bikes. Try to strip the old oil filter with pliers ang you will be surprised hom many metal dust from gbox or chluch it catches. I do have some pics from mine.

Last time I left the old oil in the bottle and after some time I pour it to bigger container. I noticed a thin layer of black powder in the bottle's bottom. Adding magnet is nice idea, it should collect it a little.

Nice video - I have the same model of xrv750, fantastic motorcycle. The oil level on the dipstick - is the correct level in the middle of the two marks? I always filled to the upper one, maybe I overfilled.

Se debió lavar la papa dl piñon, y el protector de carter, y antes de sacar el filtro viejo , lavar la parte de abajo del motor, o por li menos a verlo limpiado, ni agarrar la herramienta con las manos sucias y menos con aceite y grasa, es mi opinión y mi forma y costumbre de trabajar !!!

To było 100 lat temu, już nie pamiętam :D W każdym razie jak moto chwilę pochodzi na mniejszej ilości oleju to nic się nie stanie (o ile jest tyle oleju co nabije ciśnienie na magistralę i wszystko będzie smarowane jak trzeba) a po chwili dolewasz według wskaźnika. Wpisz w google "Olej silnikowy - Afripedia", tam piszą aby nalać 2,5l a potem dolewać sugerując się odczytem z bagneta :)

Opening filling cap does not make the oil flow faster. Crank case breather is open at all the times
