Please do a video on waterproofing the foundation, including: the paint on version, the solution that mixes with the cement, any waterproof cements, the damp proof membranes and cords, etc. This topic is confusing. What is actually needed? All of it? What is the best protection for any home/building?

I’m in process of buying 3 plots in Gomoa Fetteh. I want to build a mixed use structure with 2-3 shops & my office at the ground, 2 flats on next floor, then I’ll live on top floor with wrap around terrace. I also want to have a swimming pool and nice garden 😬🤗 I’m interested to use non-traditional materials like hempcrete or earth blocks. Please, do you have recommendations for surveyor and architect? @Africa Building Hub?

It's kinda not being able to stop when you start building when it comes to the number of rooms and the design. The most important thing is to make room for future or later improvement. I was going for 4 beds, now it's 7beds. I still want more though 😊😊😊
@AfricaBuildingHub9 ай бұрын
Why do you need 7 bedrooms though?
@everymanisyourteacher99519 ай бұрын
@@AfricaBuildingHub Bro at least to accommodate those who can't afford a roof over their heads, there are lots of rough sleepers in this world and in Ghana. Also to serve as a free short stay for those looking in buying land or building in Ghana. But I'm becoming addicted and beginning to understand why those who build tend to build more and own more properties😊😊😊. Actually it was 6 beds but there was a big space left at the top after the decking so I'm putting a penthouse there 😁😁😁. I can see the whole of Accra from that view

When is the best time to start your pool in the building process ? How much is a bucket of paint ? Thanks for your help .
@AfricaBuildingHub10 ай бұрын
There are different types of paints. Home charm is about 330 cedis a bucket. Other brands of paint have varied prices.
@edwardadu933810 ай бұрын
@@AfricaBuildingHub I am trying to estimate the cost of painting a 4 bedroom house . I am sure the 300 cedis home charm must be 5 gallons . Correct ? Do you think about 5 (5gallons paint) can paint the inside of a 4 bedroom house ? Just an estimate.. thanks Can you do a video on swimming pool when possible .

Would you say red bricks versus traditional blocks, which is more adaptable to Ghana weather?
