Here is the rub. Even those that are doing well, still live in that fear and stress of it being taken away, or you being treated a certain way despite your achievements. I think he said it right when he said the west will 'always' let you know. What everyone was saying makes sense. Speak for yourself. Most Caribbean people will not move to Africa. They were taught slavery from about 11 years old in the school curriculum. They know that the white men started it. They know that the black men knew the jungle terrain and helped in the capturing and selling of millions of their own people. Smh! So they not running to settle in Africa! They may not have the riches that some do on the continent. But neither do they have desperate poverty! They have constant electricity. No blackouts! Water inside their homes, Internet all the time and are surrounded by black people!

Advice to AA's who are trying to invest in Africa, Africa first of all is the place to invest in right now and everyone investing is getting first mover advantage and with that being said, AA's should use the Indian model. They can pool resources, collect enough money and invest in Banking, Agro-processing Tourism all these have a huge potential. Uganda Forexample gives 10yrs tax holidays to investor. Investing in Africa will give you more dividends than investing in the stock market.

I will never give up my basic necessities to move to a country that provides part-time services. I love my very long baths and showers, in my clean home. I love my 24 hour, 7 days a week electricity. I love to walk out of my home at any time of the day or night to open stores with quality fresh food, straight from the farms. I love having access to 24-hour transportation. I love living in my lean community. I love not having to pay bribes for everything. I love being around people with similar mindsets. I refuse to live around poverty. It is very heart wrenching. Those folks who have issues living in the West should go to Africa or wherever one wishes. If you accept sub-standard ways of living in Africa, then perhaps you've lived that way in America. I am a world traveler, and I will not leave America just because people say I should move to Africa. There are many countries that people can move to. Why move at all? I have no issues living in America. I was brought up in a two-parent household, had a great foundation, loving and close-knitted family. Why would I give that up to move to Africa or anyplace else? America is my home, the only one that I know.

She is uneducated, and she is dead wrong. Honestly, if we worked together like other communities do, we would not want to leave. The West may not be made for us, but it doesn't mean that we can't thrive. Personally, I love the US, and I know that the possibilities are endless. I don't believe that there is anything that African Americans can do in Portugal that they can't do in the US. In fact, we can do much more here than in Portugal. It really depends on your state of mind. I would rather see African Americans move to Africa than to more to Europe. We are addicted to supporting and adding to white wealth. We've been making Europe and her colonies rich for the past 500 years. Now, it's time to give Africa a chance. Notice she has no problem with all the African Americans who are moving to Portugal.

Caribbean Nations are sovereign and run by Black People. What does that have to do with how the West is set up? Those Nation's leaders have failed to diversify their economics and how many Islanders once they become successful in the West actually go back to help develope those Islands? And the same applies to the Africans living in the West. Blk Americans should be focused on doing what we need to do in America first then travel abroad. There are many blk expats in Central America setting up businesses and developing land with Blks there, but they don't have no channels trying to scare other Blks there. They're quietly handling their business. The problem is those Nations economies haven't expanded beyond tourism and Agricultural products.

Until they control America that's not even on the table. They can actually own land you can actually farm there is better quality soil, food etc they can actually start businesses easier they have better quality of life more longevity. There is so much more benifits to living in africa.

My heart breaks for my people and myself, those descendants of the Maafa, the so-called Black man and woman in America I applaud your resilience, your brilliance and your resistance. The transatlantic slave trade and that post traumatic slave syndrome that my own kidnapped descendants and people suffer from to date no one but us would understand. To feel it is to know it. Only The Most High knows the sheer wickedness and torment endured by His people. Hell, I even overstand the sheer desperation and greed of the capitalist that sold and stole us, our birthright, land, culture, humanity and everything to date because it continues, they can’t even help themselves at this point they have made their bed for the hellfire. They do not care, they have no conscience but God knows best and truly has the last and final say in all things. I can only say that atonement and repentance is the only way out of this hell, don’t let pride, ego, greed and arrogance be that coal that continues to light that fire that awaits all of us that refuse to humble ourselves and turn from our own wicked ways. Don’t be fooled by the shaitan and his minions they have a job to do and so do we! Get up stand up for your rights in the words of the mighty Bob Marley. This is a subject that's near and dear to my heart, I've always felt i am a business man first, meaning there opportunities on the continent but the resources and information is here in the states. There no reason to have to choose between the two one of the clearest examples are the hasidic jews, many of them have businesses here in America and business interests in Israel. I am extremely heartened by the fact that this is a topic that's clearly on the minds of many black Americans and its only a matter of time before someone comes up with a blueprint(the how to)for successfully forming partnerships on the two continents. I would remind everyone that we are only in the 2nd inning of a 9 inning baseball game ....Rome wasn't built a day ,everything takes time ...Great things are on the horizon...

Black Americans are not thriving in America on any tangible level of measured progress. We are last in income, last in education attaintainment, last in home ownership, last in marriages, highest in divorces, last in college graduation rates, second highest in high school dropout rates (hispanics are first). We are highest in poverty rates and unemployment. Point is, we are not winning as a race of people living in Western society, and now it is falling, so if the numbers look nad now during the prosperous times, what will they look like when the SHTF?

I think the pan African movement needs to be implemented bigger, creating connections between Universities across the diaspora & HBCUs in America. Working to improve their international rating, China has been doing this with their own Universities for decades, sending their people abroad to get skills and bring them back home to develop China. Soon the ratings in Chinese Universities will outstrip the West & they won't need to send Chinese people abroad.
