Nice video. Can’t wait to see more of Kenya. After visiting Tanzania for a while I always wondered how Kenya was. Thanks for sharing. Also, please try to continue to keep us informed with the real deal about your visit. What I have found is KZbinr’s making all these nice videos but they leave out those “real life” situations like (Black outs, no water because somebody in the neighborhood stole it). Stuff like that. Cause all those videos I saw about Tanzania before going left out that stuff. Even in our “Consultations” they did not mention it and you don’t know to ask because you don’t know what to ask. If you keep it real as you can folks will appreciate your materials better. Side note: I know some things you just can’t post because Africa doesn’t play about that. I am talking about those things that are a bit uncomfortable to a person who has not traveled as much.

In Kenya you can just record as you do in America.. just don't film government offices and no Kenya doesn't have blackouts even in rural areas.. but just like anywhere else during major grid maintenance and repairs and of which you get notified a day before it happens

Fish is a traditional staple for groups around lakes in the continent . For instance the Lebou group in Senegal fish eating populations and also the Wolof . In Kenya Lake Turkana , Lake Victoria Nilotic groups and the Coastal Bantu groups like Wa-Chakwa in Shimoni are historical fishers/fish eaters and have spread the diet among most groups in Kenya . Mama Oliech restaurant is related to the Luo groups around Lake Victoria . Similar to the same group as Obama father . The region would have similar restaurants like Senegal .The Luo were historical river lake Nilotes with with fishing occupations, fish as staple and cattle as wealth similar to other Nilotic groups like Maasai in Kenya,Tanzania or Kalenjin in Kenya) . Historically the Luo also practiced small scale subsistence farming along Nile . The Luo are diasporic(at least 20 million spread out through conquest with skilled warriors like Owiny, intermarriage and assimilation,in the past large families, polygamy) and their migration dispersed along the Nile Southwards from Sudan/Lower Egypt ending in Kenya and Tanganyika the source of the Nile. Kenya Luo proper(Kenya Nationalist Tom Mboya, VP Oginga Odinga ,OBAMA ,LUPITA NYONGO ),Luo-Suba .Tanzania Luo proper, Luo-Suba,Luo-Wasweta,Luo-Mukisero(assimilations with bantu groups e.g suba, kuria, kisii, luhya in Kenya,TZ) . Uganda Luo-Langi(President Milton Obote, Gen David Oyite Ojok, Gen Smith Acak Opon, zanzibar liberator John Okello , united Tanganyika+Zanzibar=Tanzania), Luo-Acholi(Presidents Gen Tito Okello and Army Commander Gen Bazillio Olara Okello,Airforce Director,Maj Alfred Otto,Airforce pilots Cpt Harry Oluoch,Cpt Eric Odwar etc . LRA rebels in Uganda against Yoweri Museveni JOSEPH KONY , Alice Auma Lakwena ,Dominic Ongwen, David Otti, Okot Odhiambo,Raska Lukwiya,Nixman Oryanga,Ceaser Achellum,Bunia Ocan,Actress SHEILA ATIM-"WOMAN KING"),Luo-Padhola, Luo Alur, Luo-Kumam, Luo-Jonam,Luo-babito,Luo-jopaluo . North East Congo Luo Alur . Eastern Central Africa Republic and South East Chad Luo-Alur , Luo-Acholi , Luo-Langi . Sudan and Lower Egypt Luo-Shilluk, Luo-Anuak, Luo-Pari, Luo-Thuri, Luo-Balanda, Luo-Jor Chul . South West Ethiopia Gambella and Eritrea Luo-Anuak Areas occupied by the Luo-groups in the continent will typically provide fishing delicacies . In Ethiopia also the Dassanach like the Luo provide case studies for fishing civilizations .

If there's one thing Kenya will offer you is increased viewership and subscribers. Across Africa, internet access is very high in Kenya and most Kenyans are online unlike some other African Countries. Also, unlike Tanzanians, most Kenyans consume English based content unlike Tanzanians who prefer Kiswahili based content. Your KZbin viewership algorithms will justify my claim. All the best....

@@FREEDOMCHASERSLIFE hard you saying about getting fat after eating fish or maybe even Kenyan food. It is very unlikely you will get fat eating Kenyan food especially if they still cook without too much grease and just enough seasoning not overly too much so the taste of the meats can still be felt. I saw your little one loved chapati and some fish too. I am just back to add to this comments and watch mama Oliech's eating place again. I should probably visit that place when I come home this October God willing. Will put it in my to do list cause like I said, it's been a minute since I was last at Mama Oliech's. I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I do alata Africa studies. I promote the Continent but mostly on my Facebook page. I watch all your videos and am a subscriber and I love them all, especially the one when you were in downtown Nairobi, Kenya with the fellas, the good foods and the live, colorful buses! I like the way ya'll end the videos by saying Shalom, but ya'll spend most of ya'll time in East Africa and they speak Swahili there, not Hebrew. I could be wrong, but Shalom is a Jewish or Hebrew word. This is only a personal, personal and personal opinion, but it's like you leave Africa hanging saying that. I would be thrilled if you said a Swahili word that means the same thing . . . Amani. And I'm sure, that being mostly in East Africa, you know at least a little bit of Swahili. (And Zulu in South Africa). Anyway, keep up the goodness. Amani ndani. Amani nje. (Peace in. Peace out.) L

Kenyans don't eat heavily seasoned foods, it's a boring food, that's simple and healthy if eaten in moderation. Make sure to go to Mombasa. The best food and coffee In ETHIOPIA.
