because I needed a popular political figure in the thumbnail and there aren’t much in africa that are pre the year 2000 like Mandela(South Africa) and Al naser(Egypt), Gaddafi(Lybia is someone most westerners know in modern times. So he’s more relevant therefore he’s in thumbnail. Despite being kinda insignificant in some perspectives I put a awful lot of thought into cool/creative/smart thumbnails. Or I’m just autistic.

As the Ghana player, there was a reason why I didn't invade the Marinids. I was broke the entire game. When I joined, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Nigeria were all players, with Nigeria scooping up Togo and Benin before I could even declare war. I ended up warring Burkina Faso instantly, followed by Nigeria right after, and a little later Cameroon in order to gain the rest of Nigeria. After these wars I had about 150M and multiple oil shortages, so even if I tried to invade I couldn't keep it going, and chances were that Sierra Leonne would have taken the majority of the south anyways assuming that the Marinids lost.
