I must admit that it took a little convincing for me to buy my first pair, but i got it 2 weeks ago and now i can't stop wearing them! they feel so good it's annoying :)) They breathe well and they feel stiff and resilient compared to other chukka style shoes i wore before. I already own a pair of wedge sole razorbacks as a hiking boot. I need a black pair for work, and can never find a pair with a wide enough toe box and without all the unnecessary arch support that actually hurts my feet. Ordered a custom pair of wedge sole razorbacks in all black 2 weeks ago that arrived today. They are perfect. When they get resoled I will probably go for more of a zero drop, but they are great for right now .

The buffalo leather is my favorite to see in all of a Jim Green boots if it was to happen. I still don't own a pair of Jim Green boots I'm still hoping one day I will. Love the videos & I love the work you do in the land & with Rangers who protect the animals. Go Jim Green 🐸

Recently received my pair of shoellie. This is my fifth JG after Ranger, Razorback, Boabab and T&C. These are amazing shoes with super durability, matchless comfort and ruggedly elegant style. Their distinction is the purity of material and technically sound manufacturing. The shoellie is light weight and stylistically semi-dress shoe for summers. The issue I felt with it was that shoelaces are unduly long and the loop messes up the bottoms of the trousers. And guess what, this is ONLY issue I could find with this shoe.

Think about using Kudu leather for your line as well. Both buffalo and Kudu leather are African materials and they’d really be a boon to your brand.

The burnished heel emblem definitely works out with the lighter colored leathers. Id stay with the classic yellow and green tags on darker leather footwear

The only thing about the shoelie that doesn’t fit is the large Jim Green logo on the back. I feel like a smaller logo would be much more subtle. Even better would be just on the inside of the tongue. I’m loving my African Buffalo Rangers. Hope to be getting a Baobab for winter.

For me yes, they do. African Ranger as well as the shoellies I have ordered my normal size and they fit both perfectly.
