it's amazing how happy these kids are when all they really have are each other and a roof over their heads yet in western culture all we crave is more more more. Joy for these children is the company of each other, a plate placed in front of them, the privilege of schooling. We as a culture need to take a page out of their book and learn to appreciate the simple things in life. Envy can be healthy, but greed is always ugly.

These vlogs are having a positive effect on me and your viewers. I really think that humanitarian work is your calling. Penny boards and coffee is ok for the short term but this is where you are having the most impact. On the people you are helping and also your viewers. I'm so glad I found this video!! I come back from 3 months in Nakuru, Kenya, and all this time I've worked at "sure 24 orphanage" and "living fountain" school.. so it's such an enjoyment to watch this video and to see again the cherished faces and smiles of those amazing kids. My year 5 (I was 9 years old at the time) teacher used to live in Kenya, She taught us that song they sang and our class sung it in assembly. That was 6 years ago! listening to that song now brought back so many memories!!! In awe of what people are doing to help the poor, in awe of Louis and how inspiring people really can be! Can't stop smiling :)

I went to Kenya last year and volunteered at a school a couple of hours from where Sure24 is based. It was truly one of those life changing experiences that will affect me forever. The kids at the school sang the same song and I can't tell you how many beautiful memories it brought back! Thank you, Louis. Jambo Louis!! I was out in Tanzania in August for a month volunteering as a nurse in hospital best experience of my life, your videos make me miss africa soo much special when the kids sang that song, the children in the orphange sang the same song where I was too. Wow! This is truly touching. I only wish him the best of everything in life. He is truly one of a kind. His spirit is so positive and uplifting. All of these video of Kenya have showed me that I am being selfish by complaining about how hard my life is, but in reality, My life is like a fairy tale compared to theirs. I am never taking anything for advantage because i know that, I have no right to be able to have choice too. I am so happy to hear about all of these stories about the kids on the streets being able to get an education, because that is what life really is. Being able to let someone get an education, who usually has to fight for it. These kids are happy, and joyful WITHOUT half the things we need to live day by day. Proves that you don't need half the stuff we have to be happy.

Louis! This video has given me goose bumps!! Reminds me of when I travelled to Tanzania for a similar experience where I actually slept in a tent at the school for a couple of weeks ..this specific vlog was extra special because that same song was taught to me by the group of kids I met..such a humbling experience. I work with children in Canada and all I think about is how much I miss my Tanzanian family. I'm so happy that you're doing such amazing work.
