Hey, love the video it's very informative :). One question tho: do you also need to heat the hot side off the terrarium to 32 celsius at night?

Hi guys, love the video! full of good info. I was the person who produced the first ever albino, amels and tangerine Fat Tail Geckos in the mid nineties. I also produced from a Melanistic which throw out the "white sock" morph so I am so happy to see that morph still going. You probably never heard of me, I ran a shop with my brother called DnJ Reptiles in NY. Again love the video so I thought you would like some history.. Thank you.

What are the adult weights or range of weights depending on sex. There are plenty for leopard geckos ( ex. Adult male 70 to 80 grams , adult female ..... Sub adult ... Baby ... Ect. ) i juat adopted a female fat rescue and she is 21 grams . what age would you guess she is ? What weight should i shoot for or watch for to indicate an adult size. I have giant and partial giant leopard geckos and she just seems so teeny tiny compared to them lol.

I hear a lot about breeding multiple females with one male. But would it still be fine if there was just one female and one male, obviously there will be less eggs but just wondering?
@UltimateExoticsReptiles
@UltimateExoticsReptiles 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Liam yes that won't be a problem at all. As long as you can separate your male from the female. If you can see your female is looking tired, has bite marks on her neck or is looking a bit thin after laying a few clutches it is then important to separate him so she can recover.

Mara Bam are you going to keep all three together? If so, you should probably get separate setups for each of them. And a good place to look for reptiles is morph market! That’s where I found the breeder I got my AFT gecko, just make sure to research the breeders!

@@davidferguson8183 the reason they look healthier is not because of just the light its because of the vitamin d that they would get in the wild because of the sun, the reason that your aft hates bright light is because in the wild they would try to avoid the sun yet they would still go out at morning and dusk because those are the times when the sun is slightly less bright, so the reason for your aft hating light is because a uvb bulb does not start out weak it just goes from no light to what the sun would be like in the middle of the day

@@davidferguson8183 and it is beneficial because they get vitamin d from. if you really don't want a uvb bulb then make sure that you supplement with vitamin d3 because they would get that from the sun in the wild an without it they will be a lot more prone to illnesses
