Interesting. However, the Eurocentric approach to African Hebrew Israelite/Judean/Jewish communities is fundamentally flawed... as is the perspective of viewing them as "religious" as opposed to "spiritual". See "The Danger of Eurocentrism" in Haaretz by Ahmadiel Ben Yehuda.
