How do you go about changing / refilling the bottles? It looks like the bees keep coming long after the liquid is gone. Did you have to get a beekeeper's suit?

Hi GeekingTexas. Yes if you want to change the bottles during the day it would be best to wear a proper bee suit. I do have a bee suit but I just wait until late afternoon when the bees settle down or the next morning when they have moved off to a different food source. This particular hive has become use to having me around messing with them and they are a bit more tolerant to disturbance. I have been stung a couple of time though, but you get use to that as well LOL.

For only water and sugar that liquid is very dark, did you burn it?, or is it honey, cause if it’s honey that’s not the best thing to feed, it can spread disease
