Thank you sir.Thank you for showing why even if we might have so many problems in our country it is still n place to be very proud of to call home.I started to hunt here in south africa at age 8 with my dad.I loved every moment of it.And since my dad has passed away and we dont have as much money anymore and dont mind one bit to spend every single rand of mine on hunting in south africa.It is truly an amazing place like no other that God created for us to enjoy.

Hi, Keith! As much as I love your Food and Game Saver Installments and the Deer and Wildlife Stories series, I absolutely LOVE your hunting videos. They are the best out there, bar none. You, your team, and your outfitters portray hunters are caring individuals, which we ARE. We respect the animals, the land, and the privilege of being able to hunt. This episode is an excellent primer for anyone wanting to go to Africa to hunt and, at the same time, it helps disabled hunters like me stay psyched up for the coming season and to be proud of our sport. Thanks Again.

Hello Keith, and congratulations on your beautiful trophies this time around. I have a couple questions for you. The first question is: fallow deer are not native to Africa, they are a European species, so my assumption is that Hunters Hill Safaris has transplanted them. Is this correct? Second: I am familiar with hunting opportunities in both North America and Africa, but I have scarcely heard of any such opportunities in Europe, Asia or Australia. With strict control of firearms and regulatory laws present in many countries in these regions, is it possible to hunt for the exotic game of these areas? If so, do you have any plans to visit any of these locations? Thank you, and as always, happy hunting.
@HighRoadHunting8 жыл бұрын
+TwinnieThePoohVideos Regarding the fallow, you are correct. Those were free range fallow. I don't have any immediate plans to hunt those locations for exactly the reasons you cited. It's a long flight and there just isn't the diversity of species I can hunt like in Africa. I may do ibex in Spain at some point though.

Have you tried .338 federal? I'm looking at getting the Savage Hog Hunter in .338 federal. I want something to hunt from coyote up to bear. I did look at the .308. 308 is good but I like a little insurance when shooting bear.

Keith Warren Thank you very much. Another question: do you recommend a stainless steel gun for a long-term plan? I want a single hunting rifle (probably a .308) that will outlast me. Thinking stainless may be a good investment. Suggestions?

@SuperJuiceman118 жыл бұрын
yea thats what I thought, didnt sound, look or kick like a .308. But sure was taking down large game like a .308. Even though Kieth is a master shot still very impressive for .270
@T-DsGaming8 жыл бұрын
Danny Dingo The .270 is a very good cartridge for this size game and has a flat trajectory than the 308. In the 150gr bullets it is faster and has more ft.lbs. of energy than the 308. Also most agree the 270 has a sharper recoil than the 308 so I doubt you would tell the difference based on that. Both great hunting cartridges though.
@HighRoadHunting8 жыл бұрын
+KingLT82 Interestingly enough, I've owned dozens of .270s over the years and only one shot 150 grain bullets well.
@SuperJuiceman118 жыл бұрын
from what I can see the 130 grain bullets offer the most power, @ 3200 fps that is incredibly fast, 2,995 ft lb of energy , that is well above most .308 and .30 -06. Accuracy like Kieth said will be the most important factor. Did you see him put one right between the eyes of that giraffe, and that crew come take the meat, very impressive shot and harvest. Kieth has me graving Zebra meat after his comments. Kieth how was the Giraffe meat?
