Brea rabbit? Was that story by African American man🤔. I know Disney has it in the" Song's of the South".

@@sherleengibson8847 It came from African traditions. The Disney version came from the book Joel Chandler Harris wrote from the tales of a Black man named "Uncle" George Terrell in Eatonton, Georgia, who likely got them from his African ancestors. At roughly the same time in Port Royal, South Carolina, another Black man named Prince Baskin told similar tales that he got from his African grandfather. Glad you enjoyed this and found it informative.
