Good morning, the blooms are beautiful and the plants looks so healthy. Little Axel is so beautiful as well as Jolly Fairy I cannot imagine the display of flowers on J Fairy, they just look amazing. I have always loved petite flowers, they are very special to myself. The more dainty and elegant the more I love them. Yet they stand their ground against the likes of Foxgloves if you wish to compare!! Thank you for showing and comparing and the good advice. You have me now hooked in thinking of joining a African Violet Society where I am. Take care, kind regards Elize

Lovely as usual! Could you remind me what material you used for your wicks? I watched that video before but I forgot... cotton, nylon or wool? Thanks for always posting - I really enjoy your collections!

Home Depot had one blue and white, taken it home. also some single leaf cuttings in different situations, and from a few days to a month waiting to see the pups pop

Thanks so much! I use regular 4-ply (worsted weight #4) 100% acrylic yarn for my wicks, any brand will do, e.g. Red Heart Super Saver, etc.

I hope you will tell us about your light stand with the Barrina Grow Lights. How it is doing? Are they the "blurple" color?
@grayturtleviolets3 жыл бұрын
We recently moved, so the Barrina Grow lights are still in the box, will be moving again in a few months, to our permanent new home, hopefully with more space for my violets - looking forward to installing the Barrina lights then, and sharing my experience on here. Appreciate your feedback - adding this to my video production reminders list!

Hello. Could you please make a specific video about rose bouquet? She's really difficult to care :(
@grayturtleviolets3 жыл бұрын
Check out my Rose Bouquet review, I mention the care tips at the end of the video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpzOq6iljs6EsKM. It grows on a wick, on a customized light stand, described in my light stands video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6m3pmWlppeIr5Y, and also gets some of the west-facing light window, diffused through a sheer curtain. So far, so good...

Your violets are all beautiful., I always enjoy your programs. A while back you mentioned that you would like to have Rob’s Boolaroo. I told you that I would send you one of mine in the warmer weather. If you are still interested I would like to gift one of mine to you. I feel that the weather is warm enough for shipping. Let me know and I will prepare it for shipping.

Thank you so much, so kind of you! We recently moved and will have to move again in a few months. Once my Violets and I have settled in, hopefully, in a larger growing space, I would love to have it! Will keep you posted!

@@khatijahgoodasahib5835 I am sorry for the late reply. I just now saw you note. I have never shipped any violets as I am just getting started with a small collection. I do sell some locally. Do you want leaves or plants?

Also, the plants you are seeing in this video are not mine. They belong to Gray Turtle violets. They are spectacular!
