Here is what I’m thinking.. Louis was not happy in his marriage and thought he was ready to leave. He met Jenifer and felt in love again and they created a bubble. Lou’s did love Jenifer but he had not dealt with his marriage first .He later sacrificed the relationship he had with Jenifer to be with the wife ..somehow l feel like there was a lot of manipulation from the wife and the child or even threats which made Louis take a step back .

Another tip is not to overwhelm new interest with bills and sharing about extended family needs. For example by the time they broke up he was supporting lots of children etc when they think long term of how much they will be spending to keep relationships they get overwhelmed.
