Children should be at School
@dianayoung2 Жыл бұрын
@@irenedavo3768 Of course children should be at school. Don't forget that not everyone is born with a silver spoon. Your story is different from mine and my story is different from others. I grew up so fast because of some challenges and my single mum still managed to see me through primary schools. By God's grace, I am a graduate now. My point is you can't just say children should be in school as if the parents don't want their children to go to school. All the same, I don't support those parents who clearly know that they don't have the means to cater for their children but still go ahead to make babies.

I came to Panama in 2012. I did not like living in the Capital and I had made up my mind before coming that I wanted to experience the true culture of the country. Just like in Africa there are plenty of areas that are un developed, where the modern world rubs shoulders with the poor but mostly content population. I have enjoyed living mostly in what is known as rural Panama. Even here many of these people still cook much of their food over open fires. Granted most people have acquired what we would consider antique stoves. These are gas and a tank of gas costs $5.00. So they supplement with wood fires. I really appreciate more now what I had come to take for granted in the States.

Thank you for showing us traditional African meal preparation and daily life of a child in an African village. I have so many questions but I can watch your other videos to learn more. What a beautiful child Keyen is with her healthy skin and bright teeth and eyes. Her diet is much better than our children's diet. I live in Montreal, Canada. Of course, we live much differently, usually in larger homes and with many more belongings, computers and clothing. My children at age 11 had a different morning routine. It was much more about taking care of themselves; brushing their teeth, taking a shower, making their beds, changing out of pyjamas and into school clothes, tidying their rooms, being served breakfast and then they would go down the street to catch the school bus to school. I hope that Keyen can go back to school soon.

Watching this made me reflect on being in Kenya once and traveling to a village about 3hrs away from Nairobi. When my wife told me to go with Aunty so I could see how she got the water from a stream, I did. And then she wrapped her scarf through the handle of the container with the water and threw it across her back. I said no let me carry it and she reluctantly hand it over to me and I used the scarf so I could strap it over my shoulder and carry it on my back. I had to carry it uphill. Believe me it was a challenge. But as a Man raised in a family in the West that taught me to help the women carry their loads I had to do it. And it makes you appreciate the strength of African women. I have been traveling back and forth to the continent for nearly 25 years and it is amazing to see how much of the hard work is done by the women there. And as you can see they start at a very young age. I was later told by my wife that Aunty didn't want to let me carry that water because she thought that it was bad to put the guest to work. Thanks for sharing. I was last in Africa in September 2021(West Africa. In Senegal).

Is this Africa way of living in the year 2022, really? I'm truly amazed and shocked that there is no modern development. In America, we truly take so much for granted...clean running water at our fingertips, a bedroom and bed to sleep in, going to school at 11 yrs old, not having to make a fire to cook, and having 6 toothbrushes for the cost of a $1 at the Dollar store. The African village life is so hard but the struggle builds Humility, and Gratefulness...characteristics that have been lost in American life because of everything is readily available to us. God Bless this child.🙏

Is there running water at skid row, I’m African and I am currently in Vegas right across the strat the almost worst place here before Nellis. Come on now you do know there’s reservations where people in America live in mountains and no water or fridges matter of fact my stepdaughter is there. Come on now You not going to act like africa is low, this is the village and not every place is like cities. Guys in America homeless ness is rife and people live in cars in parking lots and people have what you call benefits. Food stamps. And as an African, I am proud to announce that we Africans have no benefits whatsoever. So don’t come to us with lame ness I challenge any one watching this video, to do a search on KZbin. Search the worst cities in America and I am sure Mississippi, Detroit Chicago, Flint”toxic water”Michigan. And please don’t forget skid row. I am in Las Vegas now right at the strip...... believe me it’s not glitz and glamour. Africa is beautiful, we are content with our continent. This is the village life not all villages but it’s a village not a suburb..... and yes Africa is paradise. You just choosing to see the most horrible part of Africa. And my husband is Californian and there’s nothing special there as well. Walk of fame and staple centre. Dull and grey

Did i say this is live in the entire content ? Lots of content on KZbin showing the glam part of Africa so alway consume what you like and leave me show case my life in my village and my community in peace. I have never a said that this how all African lives. So I am not here to compare people's life with mine, this is what I know period. Please live me alone.

People need to understand that Africa has cities/town and villages you don't expect life in the village to be the same as cities ,, besides when growing up doing this it we don't see it as hard as people leaving in cities see it the same way you see your life easy by having running water,toothbrush and other things is also the same way we see life easy with us having the little that we have until this modern lifestyles until we get exposed to life in cities
