Is the only region in Ghana that are bond with one language. The Asante tribe are inseparable when it comes to community and the king is highly revealed and respected.

My stay in Kumasi 1966 to 1974 was most beautiful period in my life. Working in PWD and travelling in every village of Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions, i was in contact with those beautiful villagers. Feeder roads,low-cost housing projects were hallmark of my stay. Work in the Cultural Centre with Dr Kyeremateng made me a proud Ashanti. Playing Ghanian classical tunes of Dr Amu on flute was my favorite pastime. Oh,Ghana I miss you.

I had an amazing time in Kumasi. I must follow Sunny Chima to get around & see more of this beautiful city. Nana Ama McBrown is also one of my favorite Ghanaian Actresses🌟 since I was an Independent Nollywood Film Distributor & Specialist. KZbin took over & collapsed the pre existing Nollywood international industry. Among many meaningful & better quality films I sold a beautiful, authentic, true story that Ama McBrown played Queen Mother👑 who was actually born on my birthday. Also a historic film called Golden Stool that included the Uncle who helped to establish Kumasi & prophesied the teaching hospital named for him.

They said even the excavator couldn't uproot it. So they left the sword and has become a tourist attraction and also name the hospital after him. Wish the guy took you there

@@ericoduro5609 Accra is a world class city, and Kumasi a typical African city. Like it or leave it. The fact that New York, Dubai or Beijing is far ahead of Accra doesn't mean Accra is not a world class city. The Government, corporate organizations, diplomatic missions, and big individuals have contributed a lot with their investments and citing of their headquarters in Accra over the years to make it one of the highly rated cities in Africa and beyond. Kumasi has remained the same since Ashanti joined the Gold Coast in the mid 1940s. If there's a plus for Kumasi, then it is on the fact that it is a self made city, a historical and traditional city, and the fact that it has been able to hold its economic relevance as the second most important city Ghana even in the face of near Government neglect. Accra is the face of Ghana, but we still love our Kumasi, and all other cities and towns in Ghana and Africa at large.
