African Tigress, a few years ago during Covid, we had a problem at our international airport in Toronto with many suitcases misplaced. I remember there was a lady who was able to locate where her suitcase was from her cell phone because she had a tracking device in it. Maybe you can do some research about this type of device so you can use it when you travel.

Turkish Airlines is notorious even tourists from Europe to Kenya loose their luggage often on that Airline or bags arriving to Nairobi weeks after tourists are back to Europe many people should watch and call them out. Add racism both Turkish and Egypt Air have been called out on that

I once had a tight connecting flight and all my clothes got left at CDG for 4 days. Nowadays, i have an extra change of clothes with me and Apple air tags in my checked luggage. It's always a relief when they close the doors and i can "see" my luggage inside the plane.

From now on, tag every bag that’s not on you. I used it for the 1st times yesterday and it was a comforting feeling when it says that your luggage is with you then it appeared on the carousel. I took Turkish airlines my first trip from America to Africa I had to go to INSTANBUL airport in Turkey then take another flight to Ethiopia but it was the worst experience I had I never took Turkish airlines again they are rude and I felt like they were racist at the airport NOONE spoke English never again never

Definitely racist at the Istanbul airport. Had my worst travel experience there. We were travelling as a group large group . They held us back for some time. They stopped us and antagonized us for every possible reason. We ended up running to catch our flight. By the time we got to the plane, they had kept another member of the group behind. We ended up leaving one person behind. And the wifi at the airport is so limited , so once you use it for 1 hour you lose access

Suggestion: If you have a complaint video, do not burry the complaint at the end of a video that praised the same airline you are complaining about. First, a lot of people don't watch the videos to the end. Second, the complaint is buried in too much other stuff. I would suggest that you create another video with the complaint to make it more powerful. I would also create a number of Shorts outlining the complaint. Sorry that you are having this problem, I went through the same situation with a number of airlines over the years but I eventually got my bags, hoping that you get your bag. In the future try using tracking devices.

Carrebean countries are good. You will feel at home, but there is this feeling of smallness, or enclosed with Oceans that gets to people after some time. During raining seasons it feels as if waters will overflow the entire island. Some islands are too small and can feel scary sometimes. But with time you will get used to the hurricanes and strong winds. Barbados is the safest of the carrebean countries.

I stopped using them since they stopped electronic transit visa on arrival and expect people to travel from Scotland , Northern Ireland etc to their embassy in London for ordinary Turkish visa. You have to make a claim for compensation for your bag. Sorry but it may truly be gone. Check the website for forms they may have or for an email. It may be best to call and speak with a person first. You are entitled to a certain amount of money from the Montreal convention. If you still have receipts for items you bought that were in the luggage gather them up for submission with the claim. AT always take pictures of inside of your luggage once packed as this will help you in the event that you need to make a claim for lost baggage or missing items from your luggage. I am sorry this happened on a trip such as this.

Last time I had issues, my travel insurance made it impossible to compensate. Not for emergency sickness or even delayed baggage. I gave up following with the insurance for peace of mind. Allianz /Jubilee Insurance Kenya. Never again 🙅🏾‍♀️

Those two that you mentioned have their share or issues. I’ve seen vloggers given a terrible time. I was surprised to see how staff cut off serving passengers to prioritize threatening to arrest an angry passenger whose used to being treated with privilege but his flight was canceled. Don’t ever dream about being late, missing a flight or trying to communicate with staff outside of perfect routine check in with not a single kilo over weight restrictions. The only discussions they entertain are passengers paying more money. Cabin feeding and amenities were good and luggage was on the carousel on time, but when questions or issues occur they are uncaring, quickly harsh to punish, and sometimes cruel. Good Luck with them.

First, I don’t buy cheap Walmart bags. Second, I prefer interacting with people who have a higher level of intelligence on this channel. Clearly, you haven’t been paying attention and don’t realize how important this trip was to me. The contents of the bag weren’t just your average, everyday clothes-they were filled with memories and things I’ve collected over the years. Fourth, you have no idea how many times I’ve been told to go to the airport to collect my bag, only to get there and be told by ground staff that it isn’t there. I’ve driven several kilometers to the airport multiple times, wasting both time and fuel. Lastly, educate yourself about the Montreal Convention on delayed and lost baggage.

Handling millions of luggage you are going to have some go missing, lost, or stolen. It is the risk you take when traveling. Do not harass the airlines, just buy travel insurance for your future travels.

Turkish Airlines has a bad reputation for both not great customer service and missing bags. It's not just a balance of probabilities. I've flown with them multiple times but thankfully they have never lost any of my luggage.

Didn't you look at the video that she did before this one? She is relocating to another country. Your tone tells me the kind of person you are. Service workers like you make travelling a nightmare. The airline workers have to be more responsible. This happens every day. They are paid to do a job. When you pay your hard-earned money to travel, you should be respected. This 6is not how business works, don't blame her, blame the airline incompetent workers. There is too much incompetence going on. I worked in law and simplest mistake could cost great losses to clients in all areas.
