I’ve enjoyed this episode & my heart goes out to the people who were involved in the car accident. I pray for their total recovery if they’re still alive. Jamaica reminds me of my native country Zambia where safety prayers are offered in most long distance buses. Negril is a beautiful place & looks just like any good Western place. The thrill of going there is like the way I feel going to Victoria falls in my Zambian tourist capital of Livingstone, although our tourism industry is not as developed like that of Jamaica

I think Ochi is more popular, it has more attractions and hotels it also has a cruise ship port and it's in the biggest parish in Jamaica. Negril is very famous for it's white sand beaches.

Ocho Rios is more popular. You were on the outskirts of it when you passed through. It is also a resort town with a half moon shaped bay surrounded by hotels, plazas and waterfront area. Beyond the town there are also resorts extending into St Mary. The backdrop of mountains also makes it special.

I stayed out in Mandeville my first few days in Jamaica loved it out there in the countryside the view from the balcony was so beautiful & then stayed the remaining days in Negril … loved love loved the food the mineral lake & the nightlife… Scotchies in Montego Bay I’m in love w/. Their jerk pork… while in Mandeville a cook came over & The Ackee salt fish & dumplings w/. The greens were so good I had seconds & 3rd 🤭… the views of the beaches were so beautiful… we stopped on the road side I forgot the name but they sold fresh crawfish right by the water … Dunns River .. Ricks cafe fun!fun! Fun!I was all over.
