When I was in Ivory Coast, I fell in love with Abidjan because it reminded me so much of Durban, my city. I am definitely thinking about returning some day soon. I love Ivorians, though there is language barrier here and there, they are still incredible people.

Cependant, je trouve dommage qu'il n' y ait que Cocody qui soit tres verte. Koumassi, Marcory, Yop, Abobo, il n'y a pas assez de verdure, beaucoup d'arbres coupes et pas de replants en remplacement. Les maires successifs de ces communes ont echoues sur ce plan.

There is no way you won't love Ivorian as Nigerian. There is a particular town in Nigeria called Ejigbo, these people's dialect is Yoruba, but more than half of the community speak french fluently cos of their close relationship with Abidjan. It just got to show how welcoming they are

Wow i did not know that the town called Ejigbo. My mother dear friend was Nigerian in the 70s in Abidjan. Please let me know exactly where. I would like to visite. I am in 50s now. My mum good friend when i was 12 selling clothes for her, was a wouroba from the biafra war. There is a strong nigeria commuty living in ivory Coast since 1960.

Abidjan is a metropolitan city, abuja is a residential city. The two cannot be compared. For a city of 6 millions people Abidjan is way ahead of any city in west Africa. Better than Dakar and Lagos.

When I visited Abidjan . I lived at Rivera the plush part of Abidjan. I heard Drogba and Yahaya Toure have property there as well. Aside the language barrier. It's a beautiful place better than Accra.

Sorry for the traffic but the ivorian government is building two large bridges in Abidjan right now between the city centre plateau and Yopougon. That's why there is a lot of traffic at the moment once again sorry for that

Keep you head high our African queen. It's been quite a while since I visited home, Africa, last and COVID added to it. Your videos are helping me deal with nostalgia and even showing me other places in Africa. If you have time, please take me to Yaounde and/or Doula in Cameroon. My next visit will be both for pleasure and for business across Nigeria, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire and Kenya/Rwanda.

I can say from what I've seen they know how to beautify the urban environment. Abidjan appears to be less dusty than other West African cities. No abandoned vehicles or piles of rubbish on the roadsides. How is the power and water provision there? La ville apparait etre propre

In Côte d’Ivoire no need to buy water,we drink from the tap,nobody has generator The electricity is 24/7,we are humble and that’s it.

Beautiful memories for me as you arrived at the Plateau district (CBD) with the Cathedral on the right (completed in 1985) and the Ébrié lagoon to the left. Funnily enough, I recognize almost all the places in Abidjan than Lagos where I had been more recently in person. Do enjoy the local cuisine; alloco, attièke are a must.

@@Jamiev8420 in Abuja, yes you see the wide roads and the buildings. But you don't feel the vibes of a city. Abuja feels more like a huge residential town with big road and buildings. In Abidjan, all around, the city is alive everywhere you turn. I don't know how to explain it. If you have lived in Abuja, go spend a week in Abidjan.. you'll see the difference. It's less about the size than the vibe.
