Your friend is truly knowledgeable about Germany and Hamburg in particular. I was born close to Hamburg in the 60s and it was THE German city with the largest African population historically even before WW1. Afro-Germans are a reality which I do remember vividly from my childhood. African brothers and sisters who speak German like anybody else who were born there. Perhaps forgotten but they do exist and some of them even survived nazi Germany. Half of my relatives are Afro-Germans. They were born and raised there, they speak German like any other German, they identify as German. Please do a KZbin search with the search term "afro deutsche".

Good! A little info for u most countries were black-Indian b4 they were killed off by the colonizers. Even, Blk-Chinese. So, it’s not a big deal about blk Germans actually. IJS

As an European I love hearing such stories from people that found what they're looking for here, and being able to adapt to our system. It's a huge cultural difference between Africa and Europe, so being able to adapt is key. Also, a lot of Europeans love Africa for what it is, nature, traditions and freedom, but not all of them are capable to adapt there, as not all Africans are capable of adapting in Europe. It depends on the personality and the will of the person to make it work. Thank you for this insightful interview! ❤❤❤

Wish we could get rid of corruption in SA. Also in SA they pay u to study, u get a grant, accomodations n it's free. Wen u finish yr course you get paid a lum sum like R30000. But most students don't get this money.

With our GDP we should have internships for any graduates, or employment in government services n the private sector. We could create jobs for ppl if this corruption could end. Build more free houses for ppl, stable free electricity. Before we start making money from oil. Oil should be a bonus
