These Al Qaeda apologists have no idea what they are even discussing. It's like if we put lipstick on a pig, can it become Miss Universe? Jolani and the ilk were terrorists and will always remain so until they are no longer needed and eliminated. The best days of Syria are behind it when the secular Assad did not allow Islamists backed by Zios to take charge. Now these people are sitting over a corpse and discussing its future. The Zios are already celebrating, and even if the country continues to be called Syria, it will one of many countries/autonomous regions that will be carved from it. The sectarian brain of Hamdi and the likes is just not wired to understand these things, so they will be treated as useful idiots by Washington.

Sami Hamdi's analysis is incredibly insightful. It would also be great to highlight the dynamics in East Africa, especially the relationships between Somalia, Ethiopia, and the influence of Gulf states in the region. These complexities often go unnoticed but are crucial to understanding the bigger picture. Somalia, in particular, seems underrepresented in Arab media, despite its deep historical and cultural ties. It deserves more attention, as its role in the region is significant. Sami's perspective on this would definitely resonate with many!

I don’t understand why they are so divided within government. The corruption is a huge problem due to MP bribery. Somali people are great entrepreneurs and I hope a new generation comes where they run the country. Somaliland is at huge risk of being taken advantage of by UAE (and by extension, Israel) due to their separatist aspirations. Until then, Ethiopia and UAE will try to divide and eat away into Somalia. I pray a new generation of Somalis can bring the country to a new beginning

The irony is that US and Israel will never let any Muslim country become stronger militarily. They take it as a threat to Israel. Today, out of 50 plus Muslim countries, 99 percent of leaders are US puppets and slaves. Be it UAE, Saudi, Egypt, Jordon. Israel controls US foreign policies and they wanted all the strong Muslims leader gone and they have succeeded with the exception of Iran Ayatollah. No wonder you see no leader did anything for Gaza except condemnations. This guy Jolani is a US puppet no matter what people says about him. Israel completely destroyed Syria's weapons and defence system and this Jolani guy did not utter a single word. Syria is defenceless now and this is how the west wants.

True winners never pick fights they can't win. The Muslim world has been plagued by very poor leadership for centuries now. Except for Turkey most are truly still colonized in a sense that their security depends on other countries' weapons. Invention and innovation is very very behind in the Muslim world by the standard of most advanced countries.

It's worth noting that in immediate post-Ottoman Syria, the colonial powers made a massive song and dance about minorities, hence the foundation of Lebanon originally as a Maronite stronghold and even the call of Bashar Assad's grandfather for the French colonialists to make an Alawite version of Lebanon. At that time, a lot of intellectuals and politicians in Syria tried to placate these fears by adopting various superficial liberal measures, and that was never enough to placate the foreign powers because their concern was never truly about minorities. Generally, with very few exceptions, Syria and the rest of the Levant had been a bastion of coexistence until the modern period.

I hope this was recorded before the new year. It's extremely naive, which I am surprised to hear on this channel, which I appreciate and I've subscribed to for some time. I understand it's hard for non-Western people to understand, esp US, politics. As it's hard, without considerable study, for me to understand even other Western politics. But I do study. It's always been amazing what a Hollywood vision of the US that non-Western people have, esp when I've traveled. I grew up knowing that Syria and often Turkey, weren't US allies, because they were USSR (Russia) allies, esp Syria. The US has big plans for the world, post Cold War, which are still playing out. Esp for the ME and Russia. Who's President doesn't matter, esp now, it's a complete corporatocracy, or plutocracy, or oligarchy. Take your pick, just don't pick democracy! And Trump took $100mil from his most influential donor to annex the West Bank and his son-in-law is already designing Gaza properties. Trump also has nominated 13 billionaires for his admin, all neocons (warmongers and America should rule the world). The Republicans, who have all power now, would deport, hang or murder in war, all the Muslims in the world, if they could (Democrats just murder, just not in the US so much: votes). Have you not seen Gaza, Iraq, etc, etc? Republicans have many extremist Christians. That's why they support Zionists. If you think this is going to turn out well for Syria or Islam in Syria, think again. Any Muslim who thinks al Sharaa is not a complete puppet of the US is blind. Yet he is speaking also like the Taliban, which seems his true nature (well, ISIS) and committing violence against opposite groups. Very smart of the US, they can play both against, esp with American people, and the road of war goes through Syria to Iran and Russia. WITH American troops, full war. It's very possible and look at Iraq, want to end up like that? The prohibition on large numbers of troops is from Vietnam, then Iraq. It's highly unpopular, and we're getting others to die for us, successfully. But with the coming rhetoric, and Trump's loyal congressional cult members, plus a few "terror" acts, attributed to "ISIS", like over New Years, it can happen. The party is divided about war with Iran, but united about its hate and misconceptions of Islam. They are all bought by Israel, too. Not much will change. Trump lied when campaigning. I had small hope he would stop the military aggression, but that seems to be out the window. I mean, like any president is going to close the 850 foreign military bases? It's bigger than him. Politicias lie a LOT, though. If the US, whose CIA has used AQ and ISIS, or rather helped create them, or the Western concept of ISIS, didn't have a big plan, Assad would still be in Damascus and the prisoners would still be in prison. Why would Amerisrael allow them to be freed? Hmmmm. Because we need a big resistance to justify war. Much bigger than "Hamas", er, the Palestinian Resistance. Anyway, you will see. As Amerisrael steals ALL the Syrian oil (Trump bragged about that, thus why troops were still in NE Syria), as Syria becomes a pure Amerisrael colony, after another dirty war. Fancy becoming the West Bank? On another issue, I understand the hypocrisy of the West re Islam, but as a woman, I want the freedom NOT to die of heat stroke in a polyester hijab (it's brutally hot where I live), but I also say a woman can wear what she wants on her head, or anywhere else. When men are forced to wear total modesty, no matter how much heat or work, then maybe I'll change my mind lol. You think women don't lust after men's flesh? They just don't tell you and they aren't weak men who can't (don't have to) control themselves, as portrayed. Maybe I don't fully understand, but the complete segregation of the sexes just looks like Muslim men are weak. Ditto Orthodox Jews. And some extreme Christian sects, although there's still msny mainstrea denominations which won't allow female pastors or priests. I'm just glad to be free of religion. He yelled about the equality of minorities under Islam, but seems like only if they are male. I know from experience that Muslim men treat me with great respect, due to my age and gender, and I feel safe, but would they allow me the rights I enjoy now,, if they had control? No matter how bad the US situation is, I cannot imagine living where I have no real agency for my life. Other than that, I don't care who is the religious majority. However, I don't want to live under any religious laws or taboos, I grew up with that in the 50s and 60s, and the Christian Taliban here are always threatening to return to that and worse. You better hope the US remains secular, because that would be so bad for Muslims.

Tell them: You have your holiday, but don’t tell me to accept any of it or to make it a national holiday. - For I don’t see it as holiday, but rather disrespect. - Celebrate privately with your disbelief. Don’t worry about the blame of the blamers, for the truth is with Islam and falsehood is with them. I agree with the statement to an extent. Muslims should work hard to go back to the Muslim countries. Their fault we are here (in the west), but our fault we stay.

Muslim here. There is a good reason to not have Eid. It will just be a great opportunity for the racist far-right to attack any government who allows it. Also Muslims are still free to take the day off at work and school. I do it in the US, my boss even wishes me Eid Muburak. The rest of my co-workers who do not even know what Eid is do not need to take the day off. While I disagree a lot with these guys's points on Sharia, I agree that if a minority population is small enough(less than 5%), they can take a discretionary holiday instead of having a public holiday. And this would be for their own protection against the far-right of any religion or opportunists in right-wing media going after them.

Overall, this is a worthy and interesting discussion about Syria. I have just watched/listened to it in full. All 6457 seconds of it. Well done to Muhammad Jalal for hosting Sami Hamdi. They are both intelligent blokes. 👍 Take Note; Philosophy has to be the master of Politics. Not the other way around. ⚠ Thus, if the philosophical parameters of Syria are sound, the foundation of the nascent state will be strong and the future of the country will be secured. All other aspects of a Nation State, such as its Defence-Military Strategy, Foreign Policy, Economic Policy etc. are dependent upon and must fall under and be subservient to the overall Philosophical umbrella/raison d'être. All the various details/ingredients of a proper nation state can be worked out if the initial foundation is correct. The New Syrian Constitution should be based on the idea that the sovereign nation state of Syria will be based on: Moderate, Traditional, Pluralistic Monotheism. التوحيد المعتدل، التقليدي، التعددي. These four key pillars will act as the Frame of Reference/Blueprint/Template for the state that will optimally facilitate the General Welfare of the Syrian people over time. FYI, I have been auditing and analysing Syria in great depth since 21/8/2013, which was a truly pivotal day in human history. I don't think there is anyone alive who knows more about the origins and trajectory of the conflict and what the solutions are. I have put in at least 5,000 laser focused hours of work over a decade about Syria. e.g. From late 2013 to 2019 I composed in excess of 12000 tweets about Syria plus a multitude of comments and counsel to various media, agencies and leaders. (Data Mining all my past public counsel on Syria to condense my wisdom about the country is a worthy endeavour.) A very small but important part chronology of my past counsel about Syria: 28/5/2015 Replying to Petra Stienen and Bente Scheller: " He, Bashar al Assad, can be Alawite Rep. for Tartus/Latakia. If not, Putin can give him and Asma a dacha in Vladivostok. Keys ready." 29/6/2017 "Syria must not be balkanised. Existing borders to remain. 14 governates. Damascus as the capital. Moderate - Monotheist - Pluralist" 9/7/2017 SYRIA The Vision - By 2030 it becomes possible to drive in peace and security from Jerusalem to Tehran, via The Golan Heights > Damascus, Jobar, Madaya, Beirut, Tripoli, Ain Dara, Aleppo, Raqqa, Palmyra, Deir Ez Zour, Mosul and Baghdad ! Over say 8 weeks. (A/C car in summer of course. 😎) What a road trip that would be! A Grand Middle East Tour ! Visualise - Verbalise - Actualise. 16/11/2018 I counselled to the US State Dept, POTUS, Erdogan, The Elysee and Netanyahu: "If Ahmad Shah Massoud had been given the right support, and not been killed of course, Afghanistan would be completely different since 2001. The closest and most hopeful approximation to Massoud in Syria now is Jolani." 23/1/2019 Replying to Charles Lister on Twitter: As I have explained, a professional, paid 42 person "Int'ernational Transitional Oversight Committee for Syria" is required. (To work with the 50 Syrian guests at the IPC + the MDMEMP + the 24/7 Ceasefire Monitors) Charles L. gets one of the seats on ITOCS2024. 👍 12/5/2023 Replying to Wassim Nasr at France 24: "Well done Wassim and your editors at France 24 who organised this trip with help from official channels. Blessings to the good people of Idlib Governate. There is a certain set of moves of the Rubik's Cube that can and must be made now to redeem Syria. I have been following the Syrian Civil War very closely since 21/8/2013, which was a key date in human history. i.e. The Sarin Attack on East Ghouta. P.S. Jolani is a viable leader of Syria in the coming years... These recent comments by two other Syria watchers are relevant. 6/12/2024 @ Armin Rosen There is a case to be made, and I've made it here before, that the Syrian civil war is the most important event of the 21st century. Possible deadliest war, generated a host of other conflicts, produced ISIS and massive European refugee crisis... @ Nick Gorges I make this argument all the time in my personal life to explain why people need to care about Syria. Have a good day. Prayers for the peace, prosperity and security of Syria. ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ 😎 Adam Neira Founder of World Peace 2050 Founded in April 2000 Paris - Jerusalem - Melbourne

Like the western media, sami has hastened into white washing of jolani to ahmad al shara. The whole talk is based on the presumption that jolani is a genuine leader trying to strategise and balance affairs for the betterment of syria. The other option that jolani could be a cia asset is completely ignored. Strangely, jolani's extreme groveling to the western media and ignoring of israeli bombings and incursions in syria does not seem bother sami. Both options, good and bad, demand serious discussions and sami seems to be concentrating on one and ignoring the other. I advice caution as it is too early to make such judgements. Few months down the line sami may end up regretting this interview. It is good to be hopeful but at the same time, the narrative of caution cannot be ignored.

Syria is coming out of a 13 year civil war. 1+ million dead, 6 million refugees, 10 million displaced and most cities destroyed. Economy is also completely in ruins. Turkey will not back him in a war with Israel. What power does he have to fight Israel? The west right now is trying to buy time and strategize for its next coup or move. Syria is also still full of regime remnants and separatists movements that pose a threat to Damascus. Israel has unlimited US and western support. If Syrians attack Israelis it will give them justification to keep Syrian territory forever. Syria is in desperate need of allies and Jolani is not looking to the west he is looking towards Saudis, Qatar and Turkey.

The U.S. doesn't even allow Imran Khan, in fact, they coup him and then the current regime carries out a genocide against its own people and yet theres nothing; no news, no condemnation, no nothing, while Imran Khan rots in a Pakistani jail on false charges. I don't need to listen to this stuff. I don't understand it. The supporting of Trump. Etc. Even after the talk with Imam Tom Faccine about the U.S. empire. Is like they totally forget everything, and havent learned a thing. Yeah Allah, I don't understand it and this channel.

there's no need to overly polish Ahmad el Sharaa's regime. The burning of the Christmas tree was not fake, we Syrians literally saw live videos on Tiktok of interviews with Ahmad's men and local Christians IN FRONT OF the burned tree. the actual perpetrators were foreign fighters, who probably cant fathom the religious diversity in Syria or come to terms with the public display of other religions in their "newly liberaterd islamic lands" And we've ALWAYS had a day off at least for Christmas. EU countries are just islamophobic and dont want to give us our rights. Ahmad el Sharaa is hopefully working for the sake of all Syrians, and he's supposted to only be a de-factor ruler for 3 months now. Anything further without public support is a dictatorship in formation.

All Salafi/Muslim Brotherhood types like Sami are rejoicing over al-Share’s victory in Syria, not because Assad was toppled, but because they feel their agenda and tactics over the years have been vindicated. This is not saying that their agendas are wrong in essence-they believe that real harmony in society can be achieved through the correct implementation of the Sharee’a, with minority rights secured through that arrangement. But I highly doubt the new Syrian state will be secular like its predecessors.
@ABC-wi6vt13 күн бұрын
Christmas has only been a holiday in the artificial entity”Syria” imposed on us after our defeat in World War One by the coalition of atheism . Don’t misrepresent the truth . Those Muslims you call “foreigners” have more rights to decide in the eyes of Allah than secular nationalists like yourself.

100%. The same US supported so called Mujhadeen in Afghanistan when they were fighting the Soviets and they supported dictator Zia. The priority of the US government as a whole is imperialism and anti-communism. There are extremist religious elements in the government. Today in that same spot right where Omar Ibn Al Khattab (RA) prayed outside the Church, there is the Masjid of Omar.

@14:50 Jalal is asking Sami, "Why care about what the West is Thinking" A ridiculous question. surely you both know why they care. its simple; Because they are the ones behind that new Government coming into power. they all Celebrated when the Syrian Government collapsed not because they care about human rights or anything. they didnt like that Government because Assad with all his weaknesses refused to bow down to them. and since they had reasons of supporting the so called revolution theyll naturally care. you must have known that when they were arming and financing you. a good muslim practice is we are taught to remember those who help us. you should both stop looking confused

I pray that what this gentleman is saying that the new government stick to what he quite intellectually stated will happen for the ALL the people of this country where the people suffered horrible consequences of the past government. He must keep his focus on building the country with peace and security for all its people. Don’t let the west or who ever interfere with what this new leader must focus on in building back a strong government and don’t make past mistakes go for a peaceful ruling and soon other country will settle down and start to work with your leaders. Make all efforts to deal with the diversity of the people for they have suffered enough. Don’t pick conflicts that will only divide your country and your people where it will not be successful and failed. Be very diplomatic but with good leadership, great negotiation skills that comes to a win win solution for your people and your country. Don’t be quick to react but have conversation with people who are level headed and avoid being drag into a war or civil uprising. I wish you all the best and will many of Gods blessings. This man speaking could be helpful in your future achievements. Peace to the new leaders and the peace of your people and focus on healing your country for the people have suffered enough and it’s time to now move on and focus on your governing. You must succeed but with the grace and freedom of your people. Don’t let the countries around pull you off you focus and be careful the words you choose. Choose words that there is absolutely no misunderstanding, if there are go immediately and correct the misunderstanding so no one can turn or twist your words against you. Peace by with your government and the people. God bless
