I actually almost got into the same shoe when i came back to Zambia. I kept on getting swindled thinking i do business or fund them, they ran away. I had to start afresh all the time. I had weird dream which would manifest into physical. I underwent a very big surgery which almost took my life. My health nd finances started going down. I left Zambia immediately a month after i got out of surgery. Am back in the foreign land nd doing fine. Africa my village people amolst destroyed me, my Jesus saved me, the Holy Spirit took me out. Here is the thing, us from Africa, well, I am from Kenya like you sis and lives in Canada. I came here 20 years ago as a single mother, my family has taken so much money from me with lies, sometimes lying that mom has been admitted in hospital, there was a time I used to work three jobs including cleaning houses, and my brothers would keep asking for money. The very last time I went back home to see my mother before she went to be with the Lord, I stayed in my brothers house. He kept asking me for money, I was so stressed out I gave him basically everything, in three weeks I spent more than 15,000 dollars. I came back to Canada and they will never ever see my money again. Did you have a legal status? Did you have a green card? If you were legal, then why don't you come back to the US??. Because if you do, all these problems will be taken care of. You will still be able to work if you want to. You will fall under the disability group and you will be getting your SSI (monthly insurance money paid to people with disabilities). Or by age you will enjoy your Social Security. (money paid to people from the age of 62) Your health concerns will be attended to for free and you may be assigned an apartment. I was an Au Pair in the US and I decided to come back home and they didn’t allow me to bring all my luggage, I had to leave some of my stuff behind, it wasn’t a lot of stuff but I was feeling so bad that I couldn’t bring everything that that I worked hard to get. Just a few questions for Beatrice: 1.) Wouldn't she have been better off remaining in the U.S. so she could access the excellent healthcare system for her eye, leg, back and her unexplained 'falls'? 2.) Considering her condition, why not remain in the U.S. and get on State Disability? She'd get a $heck for being on disability. They'd pay for her medical too. Her children can visit or move to the U.S. 3.) Shipping companies pay a high insurance premium to be able to compensate for damaged or lost property - full payment for value of lost goods. Her container just disappeared? 4.) Having been in business for as long as she says she did, did she not learn to draft legally binding contracts before giving away 'millions', more than once? Yes. I'm a skeptic.

What I also learnt here is that people tend to be church girl or church boy. We trust church goers, being a church person doesn't mean you are a good person. But being a born again christian broken by the Holy Spirit, this is more important than being a church girl.

This is heartbreaking! I am so sorry this happened to you ma’am. But I’m asking where are her children? How could children she had birthed in this world, forget about their mother! She struggled after her husband left the marriage and took care of the children, so they should never forget the hands that fed and nurtured them. They should see to it that their mother is taken care of. I pray today that the Lord will make a way for you mother, and that all of your hearts desires will be met. In Jesus Name!

Wanted to ask about her kids too. My advice is that atleast it's better to build a house cash,before going back cos its important to have a roof under your head. I see that when she went back to.Kenya,she spent lot of money trying to have businesses. It was even better to buy a car,and use it as a taxi..But I pray that God touch someone's heart so that she will get help. I also wish for someone to pay for her eye operation or something.

She is so intelligent & very smart in business. Her catering service in Marietta was great. She was shown in the news with the Vice President & the Prime Minister of Kenya at the Marietta Hilton Hotel when they visited here. I'm glad you coming through for her defense. The fact is, she needs help and a back up to this tragic story. Can you help her since her Kenyan family, government and home citizens don't care to help her financially, or her family to assist her at least with chores and companionship. Infact I'm even surprised that her government who know her so well, but ignore her like that. It is unbelievable , and surprisingly disappointing , but knowing US citizens, there'll be someone who can at least attend to her seeking assistance.
