Touching an instrument; one could argue it is touching music.

I was going to buy Denon prime 4 plus but I didn’t because I’m not sure if I’ll like layout of controls and because it costs £2000. If I knew I’d be happy, maybe I’d buy it. Then I thought about Denon sc live 4 at £1000 it has club layout that I’m used to so that’s good but I’m not sure if I’ll like the speakers. This would possibly be good buy tho because I can’t play loud music. So built in speakers may sound good enough quality for bedroom mixing but again, I’m worried speaker will be bad. Then I have to buy new speakers. I really hate situations like this. I think I’d probably be happy with either midstream pro, Denon sc live 4 or the prime 4 plus but what 1 to go for? I’m leaning on sc live 4 and just hope if I buy, I’m happy and it’s fun . Oh and great mix by the way

Can you record your own mix with the PRO GO and what extern speakers do you use ???
@Traumadj7 ай бұрын
Yes you can and you can just use the onboard speakers considering you’ll be using the mix that’s recorded internally

can someone explain what hes doing when hes constantly nudging the wheel? I know you do it to beat match, but why is he doing it so much, and then on the screen it looks like nothing is happening
@djmg_music661010 ай бұрын
When he nudges the wheel it nudges the song up or down to then get on beat
@nextedge201110 ай бұрын
He nudges to get beat aligned. You can use either platter or buttons to speed up or slow down song to align beats (beat match). Some prefer using platter over buttons because of feel, speed and flexibility.

Two songs won’t automatically stay matched or synced the entire length of the song. You need to adjust pitch slider, use pitch bend buttons or nudge constantly to keep things in check or they will drift away. Nudging the wheel on the side is intended to move the song in tiny increments. That’s why you don’t see the track moving crazy on the screen. Touching the jog wheel on top will cause the song to speed up or reverse faster. Touching on the side, just a tiny bit.
